    "I hate being talked down to," he grumbled. The hallway in front of him was a tunnel with some asphalt slapped on the bottom. Hehehe. Pay attention. You're getting exclusive lore. The leading councilwoman turned to Rose. "I see your family sent a child." Her voice held a disapproving, almost mocking tone. "Too busy for this meeting, mmm?" She swallowed. Her parents had sent her and told her to make sure the problem was taken care of. She could guess what that meant. They wanted him banished, and they were trusting her to do it. But... that felt... wrong. She felt guilty, but she didn't know why. She straightened. "My family would like to inform you that we won't be tolerating any sort of banishment. They're drafting a report on the events as we speak." The councilroom fell quiet. "Yup. Indeed."

    "Yep. Clocks that tell time, and cameras that show us the position of the sun." He pulled up his sleeve, revealing shiny metal peeking out of his skin. "Not quite as lucky as you might think. Hurry up and get in."

    He scoffed. "Lucky few? None of us are lucky. My number is Twelve, Raven. I was the twelfth they picked. I've been in there since I was young. Does that sound lucky to you?" It became quickly clear that they were in the middle of a conference about Bat. "He's become more than a nuisance," one councilwoman said. "He's become an active danger to our homes, families, and lives. We need to do something with him." "Nobleman Bairne brought up the possibility of sending him beneath," a councilman chimed in. "This is, obviously, not a good idea." He paused, a look of uncertainty glazing his face. "I hope I do not need to say why, and would be glad to address concerns privately outside this meeting." It did not appear that that would be necessary, though. The other councilmen and noblemen nodded along thoughtfully, some casting nervous glances at the ceilings and corners. Rose herself did not seem to be ignorant, but she did seem a little confused. The councilman continued. "I dislike the idea of casting him out of our mountain completely, but it's become necessary to address some unsavory options. We know the locations of several nice, quiet villages where he could live out his char- his life." Unsettled murmuring followed this remark. Rose definitely looked confused now. oh sorry "We have clocks," she told him. "And cameras." wait isn't that what he asked, right?

    "Several months. Eight, I think." That was an excellent question. A door appeared in case he wanted to leave.

    It wasn't her directly she pressed Bat into doing it, and so she sees it as her fault Rose grabbed Bat and dragged him toward the bus. Bat didn't seem to notice. The scene wavered and faded into a council room. Rose sat on the council, looking out of place around the circular table full of adults. He sat down in the passenger seat.

    He hugged her tightly and ran his fingers through her hair. oop mb Bat hugged himself, gazing up at the dam. There was a dull, deep thunk. Bat gasped and stepped back. The whole class froze. The dam began to lower. Water poured down into the reservoir beneath. The banks were assailed by waves, bigger and bigger. "Everyone in the bus!" The teacher bellowed. Rose's face turned pale, and she couldn't tear her eyes away from the dam. Deep in the fear was... a little bit of wonder. She'd done that. "Yeah. You drive." He stepped onto the platform before it fell too far. No prob, I'm glad you have a life I LOVE CREATUVE SCHOOL ASSIGNMENTS Rose gasped and grabbed onto her reflection. - "Ah! That's a good catch," Symbol said. Lady Bug sighed. "Fine. Let's get it over with." Symbol smiled and floated the choker towards her. Lady Bug clasped it on, and it flashed with golden light. Then she vanished, and was gone. "Perfect. Thank you," Symbol told Rebus.

    They finally arrived at the opulent palace. She led them inside without hesitation, then signaled the announcer and took her place on a stool by the burning hearth. He sighed and shrugged, then flipped a switch on the wall. The car lowered into the floor on a lift mechanism thingie. He's so sweet T~T Rose deflated after a moment and her gaggle drifted away. She glanced back, though, looking almost envious.

    "That's our destination." The woman walked faster. - "Here. I like it here." AW THATS SO CUTE THO Rose approached with her gaggle. "Don't look at that," she ordered him. Bat turned to her, confused. "Huh?" "You'll break it!" Her gaggle snickered, and she grinned. Bat's shoulders lifted defensively, and he turned away. "What, you want it to break? Of course you would." Bat didn't respond, but Rose's gaggle giggled. Rose leaned forward slightly, looking eager and almost hopeful. Nothing happened.

    She led them up the mountain into Olympus. @Through The Living Glass if you'd like to describe that He hugged her again. The tiny crab and his tiny family made a tiny braid in her hair.

    FINALLY HELLO I MISSED YOU "I-- isn't it? It looks like it should be!" - "You will not physically harm me," she told Symbol, tracing a circle in the air. A glowing golden line followed her finger. "You will not use your Narration to physically harm anybody or to create weapons besides simple swords, spears, et cetera. You will not take anything from others, including personality traits. You will not create any characters with violent tendencies." She paused. "And you will not hurt Rebus in any way," she added as an afterthought. The circle flashed, solidifying into a simple braided choker. "And you will never allow this circlet to be removed."
