    I kinda wanted those musings to be daily but

    kinda forgot

     

    Anyway

    Exam 4/9 passed yesterday

    Some parts went well

    Others less so

    But I gotta admire our teachers for the total lack of coordination

    One of them says "Please don't forget your calculators, you will need them" and then another one comes and forbids calculators, without even checking if there are any questions that require a calculator

    (there were)

    (we are now trying to know whether calculators are allowed for tomorrow's exam, since the same teacher told us to take them for that one too; still no answer)

     

    Exam 5/9 today

    Went pretty well

    Will help compensate some other ones

     

    And at least the really hard ones should be behind now

    Just gotta keep on for 2 days and then FREEDOM

    (relatively speaking)

    Man I love when I am in the subway to an exam and I start doubting that the exam was at that time and not an hour earlier (Today's exam is indeed at 16:15, just like I thought and planned for. It's tomorrow's that is at 15:15) I don't even trust myself to keep track of my own timetable lol

    Oops I kinda forgot to muse on the last couple days

    Anyway

    Yesterday I got to stay 5 hours waiting at school because someone had drunk a bad beer the evening before

    But I got some work done so I'm not even too mad

    I don't work very efficiently at school but it's still better than anywhere else

    Also, exams 2 and 3/9 done today

    2 was

    Not what I expected 

    Though the teacher didn't say us much about what the test would be (because we last saw him a month ago and we had a presentation to do on that day so the exam was nowhere near the top of our concerns)

    So uh

    This might be the end of my no retakes dream

    3 was better

    Subject was so poorly written, I couldnt even be sure about the sense of a question

    Also, in several questions we had to different elements in the right order, with each its letter, and they were listed in the subject as A D B C

    Every time

    Why

    Please why

     

    Anyway that was my rant

    I'm kinda tired if you couldnt tell

    Well here we go for the hundredth time

    But hopefully, the last

     

    Exam 1/9 done

    Was really an easy one, this subject was a joke to begin with

    Managed to quote Ozzy Osbourne in the copy though, which I'm weirdly proud of

     

    Feeling pretty good so far, now that the end is so close

    Next exams are Friday. One is the hardest left, so hope it goes well

    Thanks everyone Also since I wrote that, I have managed to do another whole cycle of I'm tired and trying to get a break -> break lasts longer than planned and ends up being a desperate attempt to forget about all the stuff -> I'm way behind on the assignment of the moment and am furious and hating myself -> I go to the drawing board and do something for the assignment that is usually passable (except for those couple times where it just got too bad) -> I'm tired Wish that I could have seen the pattern earlier That's been my life for nearly 3 years and in a couple weeks it will likely be a thing of the past Well stuff like this might still happen but everything will be so different it won't look the same Also I was made to stay at school waiting for five hours between two classes today Only for the teacher to think the class was online (tbf all previous classes with her had been) I am slightly pissed off *sigh* at least this was one of the last times I had to deal with their stupidity In ten days I am free from exams and classes forever RoW vague *huuuuuugs* hope you can find some calm and quiet today Hey if you need to cry, cry It's perfectly normal to let out your emotions after a big thing like this yeaaah finals screwing up mental state is real *hugs*

    Oh wow it's been a while since I got there Might want you an update on last few weeks It was... interesting Basically I kinda broke down due to the number of assignments to juggle and general stress + fatigue from the previous couple weeks + lingering fatigue from the last couple years So instead of working on those, my brain just went "nope" and I started drowning myself in whatever I could find just to forget about all of it Because as you all know, when you stop thinking about something it stops existing entirely That lasted around a week Was scary Brought back lots of old memories too because this kind of thing has happened multiple times for me in the past, and it often had bad consequences for me In fact those episodes are the main cause for most of the lingering fatigue from the last few years above And then... idk what happened I was feeling so awful and I didn't know what to do And out of nowhere, at the back of a class that I was barely following because of three short nights in a row, I just install a thing to block most of my usual timewasters And I pretty much told myself "okay now you stop with that and you go and try to do your things You only need to hold 2 weeks and after that it's much cooler But you gotta stop with what you've been doing for the last week bc you've never felt worse in your life" ...and somehow it worked kinda I'm still way behind I did manage to get back on some of the stuff, mostly because all assignments are teamwork and I managed to get people to onboard me on their already half compelted projects (Everything being in teams was a major factor of stress though; you gotta talk to people, and then try to coordinate with them and you've got 3-4 of those running in parallel with different teams each time and sometimes people just don't care too) But my mental state is waaay better currently (I mean it could hardly have sinked lower) And I managed to do some work, which is more than none at all I just gotta complete 2 more projects over the weekend but those are the last ones Then on to the 9 finals Most are easy, it should be doable Just gotta keep my head cool and it will work out

    You didn't wish for anything. So the Nightwatcher grants you nothingness as a wish. As in, she destroys you and you aren't existing anymore, not even in the Beyond. For your bane, the Nightwatcher reverses this. She sentences you to life. I wish for my anxiety to go away.

    Was about to put a somewhat self-disparaging Ookla title; changed my mind eventually, and put something more positive

    This way, every time I log on the Shard, I get a reminder of a good thing

    Rather than something to depress me further

     

    Oh and by the time this Ookla season ends, I will be done with classes and exams forever

    Crazy

    I have mostly triumphed of the *checks notes* 4 projects and 3 exams of the last 8 days. Only 4 and 9 more (that I have been told of) to the end of December Well at least next week is chillish

    Peaches and nectarines are basically the same inside. However, nectarines do not have that awful feeling skin that you have to spend 10 minutes peeling off little bit by little bit every time. I therefore declare nectarines superior.
