    Charlotte blushed, "well thank you milord." She offered him her hand, "ready to go, Lord...oh uhm what's your name? I fear I forgot to ask in my childishness."

    "I'll be quick about it," she called. "No reason to take forever to get outside." Quickly she changed into a slim emerald green dress and just left her hair down. Shyly she walked out of the room, "so what do you think?"

    Charlotte bowed, "of course, just I'd ask that you'd let me change into some proper attire if you don't mind." He may be a gift to the world you live in, but he's not one in mine. Outwardly he just smiled and nodded, eagerly devouring the new dish.

    He smiled, "well of course I'd be glad to have you over to talk to them. And may I say my son is a lucky young man to have someone as wonderful, skilled, and beautiful as you, Lady Mae." She smiled kindly at him, "well at the very least I can give you a chance."

    She laughed too, "I'm also glad...because well...you seem like a good man Charlie Brown."

    John smiled devilishly, "now that's what I love to hear! Are you certain I can't get you to come manage my servants? They haven't been proper since the Lady Belford died." She smiled slyly at him, "I still would have slammed a shield into your face."

    She blushed slightly at this," I...I'm sorry milord. I have treated you most unfairly when you never sought me ill." He shrugged, "it's a fine dish. Nothing like I've had at home, but fine nonetheless."

    "Eddie wait!!" Lilyana dashed after her, determined to comfort her friend.

    He chuckled slightly, "well it seems he's not the only silver tongued one around here, Lady Mae."

    "What...what are you talking about Aster?" Lilyana shied slightly away from her, toward Eddie.

    "Mmm I doubt that, unless he's changed significantly since he's left. We tried our best but never could teach him a single thing."

    "Huh...I....I didn't expect that... How did you learn of me?" "Not like a bunch of children I say! More like the proper young ladies and lords they were raised to be."

    "Like a bunch of foolish children," he spat. "They've all been engaging in foolish activities."

    Both Lilyana and Anna nodded encouragingly at her.

    She groaned inside, well this probably isn't going to work AT ALL. "So...how did my family find you anyways?" Lord John only grunted and sighed as he eased himself into his chair. "No, nothing at all, thank you."

    Lord John smiles grumpily, "yes yes, it's good to see you too. Now what's there to eat? I'm starving and I was told this would be a massive meal." His tone though pleasant treated her as just another servant. Charlotte shrugged, "maybe. Though I feel my feelings would be forced."

    "Mmmmmmm, don’t you have a snack or something? Anyone?"

    "Fooooooooood," moaned Lilyana. "Can we at least get a snack before hand?"

    She mumbled into Aster's hair. "But there's so much to dooooo!" "Who? Who is that? Is he your friend Eddie?" @Ookla the Believer

    Lord John did not like to be kept waiting. It wasn't unexpected from this Lady his son was so keen on marrying. There must be something more to her to attract his son. Or perhaps just a mostly obedient and beautiful young woman to play with. Mentally he shrugged, he didn't care what happened so long as he finally got his drunkard son out of his house.
