    Well reality came and slapped Nameless in the face. His plans were burned to a crisp.

    "They are immune to all attacks from those that enter the maze. I'm going to get a snack." Ember leaves and then returns with a dead death rat. "You all should probably get on me now as we have to enter the maze, unless you all would like to be eaten by the death rats?"

    "I dislike all male channelers. That doesn't mean I wish to murder you and eat you. We really should be moving as a pack of." Ember glances down the hallway. "Rats spiked with... unknown qualities."

    "All will be revealed when the prophecy is complete." The Last Krakitrice burrows away to find more rare ore.

    "I shook you like a kitten and then put you down. What about that entails I am going to eat you. Nugget would be mad at me if I did and there are some tasty mice that are coming to eat you all."

    Ember set Nameless down and turned to Silhouette. "I come out when Nugget needs to rest or when I need to rest. I also was a pet of Wizard's and his twin. Nugget can tell you the story as I was unconcious at the time when we were combined into one. So we switch out every day to allow the other to have contact with the real world and not have to see it through another's eyes."

    The Last Krakitrice narrows it's eyes. "Now why would I want to do that?"

    "IT IS FERUCHEMICAL CADMIUM. THE MEDALLION GIVES YOU THE POWER TO STORE YOUR BREATH." Ember picks Nameless up in her mouth by the nape of his neck and shakes him like a disobedient kitten.

    "I could have filled a medallion that was given to you to protect you from poison air, with poisoned air? Just start storing cadmium when we enter the poison air and nothing too strange will happen to you."
