  1. @Siri there were lots of spoiler q&a’s there were artist panels, writing clinics, there was lots of gamin and puzzles and treasure hunts (my favorite!!!). There was trivia and fan theories

and a live recording of intentionally blank. There were panels with other authors which was also super exciting! It was a blast! The book release was super fun too you can watch that stuff on the YouTube channel.

  2. @JoyBlu yes I meant the VIP tickets (there were

only 300 and they sold out in 15 minutes). Fortunately

my brother refreshed for an hour and was able to swipe one up that someone must have changed their minds about. Thought that was pretty

cool of him :). It would have been weird if he got in early and had different seating for everything. Brandon’s books have been a really fun bonding thing for us, we need out on theories and book collecting. Might show up in costume..not sure. I kind of want to be something mildly obscure but that most people will recognize. Anyone have any suggestions?

  3. My brother turned me on to mistborn when I was going through a really tough time and I really needed a good long series to get lost in.

I fell in love with his story telling and I've been hooked ever since. I took my brother to Dragonsteel as a thank you for all his help with my kids and for being so supportive, and that's when I started my book collection....

I'm working my way through WOT this year. Next year I plan on finishing most of the rest of his works. Super looking forward to the secret project boxes! That was the best surprise ever....I was so afraid that he was sick or was going through a tough patch.

  4. O.o  it was um.... $1500...... pretty much my whole book budget for the year. Will that stop me from buying more? Realistically probably not but it was a sickening amount of money. I'm not rich...

That being said it went to a good cause. An avid book collector in Utah was supporting this little book store through the pandemic and then they ran on some hard times so the book store was selling their books for them without charging commission. Made me feel less sick about spending that kind of money.

I have nearly every leatherbound book that brandon has put out for the cosmere (looks longingly at the warbreaker book). Backed the version of the secret project that got me hardcovers and leatherbounds cause I have a mighty need for them (hardcovers are my favorites if not leatherbounds). I am also delighted to see warbreaker getting more love, I find that book wonderful but find it has has a lukewarm reputation. My favorite cosmere book would likely be oathbringer though, a certain scene got me balling and helped at a very low time in my life.

Yes! Must have ALL the leatherbounds lol.

Just waiting for them to put more in the store.... checking daily even though I know they'll probably tell us before they put them up.

You go to the sidebar, click on Account Settings, then click Display Name. You are only allowed to make two changes in a 90-day period, so make sure it's something you like.

Also, the mods prefer you not post multiple times without other posts in between. It's not serious, just something you might want to keep in mind.

I am a stick is a great name though....

  7. Hey everyone!

I read the cosmere and the cytoverse last year, and now I'm working my way through WOT while I'm waiting for new books!

Warbreaker is my favorite novella, and it would be easier for me to identify my favorite child (of three) than to choose between mistborn or stormlight.

I'm an obsessive collector of things such as bottle caps, rocks, and special Brandon Sanderson books.

My favorite books I own are my way of kings leatherbounds. I bought them at the Dragonsteel mini-con and had them both signed by Brandon and the artists who were available at the con.

Any other collectors out there? What's your favorite book!
