Viator nods, and tears the space around Lyanör. He opens a few portals and weakens the rest of space in the area.

"You could have escaped by now though, I don't think you could miss the stairs. Is whatever you're looking for worth the risk?" It was a roundabout way of asking what that something was. Maybe too obvious, but it was worth a shot.

“Quite a pleasure to meet you Randy” Ryker said. 

Ryker thought that there was no way for the pilot to know for certain that he had come solo on this mission; so, he decided to try and distract him with an outside factor. 

“I’m fairly certain that my friends wouldn’t want me spoiling what it was we are after.” He said grinning. “After all they should be joining us shortly.”

Viator’s vision swam, and his head felt fuzzy as he heard muffled talking above him.

Viator faltered. He felt his chest seize up, and he felt faint. His portals slammed shut as the universe healed the tears in its space. He collapsed as John fired towards where his portal had been.

Viator gasped as Elya was stabbed in the gut, but he complied with Johns request. He ripped the portal into five and sent them spinning around the mysterious man, bathing him in flames from all sides.

“On it!” Viator said as his eyes bled to a dark storm. He reached out with his hand and ripped a portal in front of himself and John. Through the swirling clouds of the rift, he could see Elya and a menacing stranger.

Ryker spun around and flashed a mix between a smile and a grimace. “Oh, it’s you.” He said between gasping breaths. “No, I have not. This place is like a maze.” He said glancing around. “You would think that your commanders would be more accommodating, and put up some signs with directions, or at least label the doors.” Ryker said looking back to his unknown opponent.

Knowing he was trapped, Ryker decided to try and talk his way out of this mess.

“I don’t think I ever properly introduced myself. The name is Ryker, of the Silver Shrikes crew, at your service.” He said with a small bow. “And who might you be?”

I know I said that you didn’t have to earlier, but could you please draw Ryker?

Ryker struggled to not trip while careening down the stairs with a metal backpack on his back. He gasped with every heavy step.

He paused for the moment trying to sense any high pressure sources near him, but all he could sense was his pack. Ryker couldn’t see steam pipes leading to an engineering hub. This left three options, all of them were bad for him. Either there were pipes buried deep in the walls and he couldn’t follow them, he went the wrong way, or he was in the wrong citadel. 

He thought on this for only a few seconds before hearing someone running behind him.

He tried to run down the hallway of the floor he was on, but he soon realized his mistake. There were no windows on this floor, and he could hear multiple footsteps approaching.

The JWST is also an infrared telescope. This means it can see light that has traveled farther away and longer than that of what the Hubble can see. This allows it to effectively see farther into the past than the Hubble did.
