  1. Lembas! Elvish Way-bread. One small bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man. How many did you eat? Four.
  2. So far, it sounds better, but some small things, you may have forgot to re-include that a dragon loses it's fire when they lose their heart during the conversation with Lia's mother, the dragon's name (I believe it was mentioned in the first draft) and that it's life is tied to the heart's fire. Overall though, Lia's reasons for restoring the heart are clearer than before. One (rather tedious) improvement would be to spend time and lengthen the story, so the character growth and conflict can be explored further (wowie, me using nerd words). I don't have a lot of writing experience, but I'd think that 33 pages is difficult to write a full story with. It's an impressive start, and it would be great if it had more room to work with. Keep on writing!
  3. Very good point. Also random thought about book title abbreviations, the book Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick a.k.a the book that the movie Bladerunner was based on is really hard to talk about because there's no good way to abbreviate it. Is it "Do Androids Dream"? or "Electric Sheep"? or "DADoES"? These are the real questions of life.
  4. "It's not Hoed it's Hoid"- Hoid (I'm pretty sure that's what he said)
  5. I definitely think the current title Heart of a Dragon works very well. Especially since there seems to be a bit of a sub-plot of Lia trying to be more brave, I think it works well.
  6. You know you have Brandofandonitis when every single magic system you encounter can fit in/is similar to a cosmere magic.

M-bot, our favorite self-aware robot with an accidental sense of humor. Hopefully there are no glaring mistakes.
  10. I don't think Odium is a licensed therapist, but I suppose when you're 1/16th of the thing that literally created the Cosmere, who needs a piece of paper with special words written by a special person?
  11. Very interesting, it's actually been so long since I read RoW and I've almost forgotten that scene. Also, the shanay-im, aka the windrunner Fused, the order of which Leshwi is a member of, seem the most honorable, because they duel, and don't ever cheat in fights. So, perhaps the shanay-im are just closer to Honor out of all of the Fused? Fused in general are very different, probably because they are millenia old, and are constantly reborn and never get therapy from all that damage to their soul or whatever. (although would anyone want Odium for a therapist anyways?)
  12. True, but they are slightly different? well, probably not agonyspren and painspren, but we I suppose we need diversity in how painful something is.
  13. One more, approximately 7.751 billion remaining.
  14. Spoilers and spoilers!
  15. Everything is a spoiler. yay!
  16. I read it, and I think it's great! The twist is very satisfying, and caught me completely by surprise. Well done

A soulstamp used in Forgery. The stamp means absolutely nothing, and there is no map of MaiPon, so it wouldn't work, but it does look nice from one angle.

Thanks, it was my first project with Photoshop, and in digital drawing.

  20. Thanks, I came up with it after finishing making Oathbringer, and a moment of genius struck me. It kinda hurt.
  21. The Oatbringer, sword of the feared warlord Dalinar Kholin, Bringer of Oats, Ender of Hunger.
  22. Well, technically, a spren is a splinter aka investiture, given shape by human perception. Ideas like Honor are personified by the honorspren and the storms themselves are the Stormfather. But something such as an annoymentspren shouldn’t be too uncommon, but perhaps it exists, just it’s never been seen so far
  23. What other possible spren might there be? I thought of "annoyment spren", which I don't think has shown up at all yet, maybe shows up when someone is being annoying, or feeling annoyance. Or maybe other, more abstract ideas, like the idea of "honor" which is an entirely human concept. "Beauty spren", perhaps?
  24. So like the cannon ball will hit at an angle, and bounce off more easily? That might work, but the Plate would be severely damaged, and it would still be no joke to be hit with almost the full force of a cannon ball, regardless of whether it glances off or not. And, additionally, Blades do not cut normally, they have no thickness, in a sense, when cutting. that means they do not really separate the material, and thus dont give it much momentum to the side
