  1. I got the impression that their "local help" was the guy whose POV the interlude was in.
  2. Yeah, that's the only other Ajah I can think of that I'd go for. I've heard Violet used for that idea before, now I think about it.Brown seems to be a pretty popular one. Guess it makes sense, considering we learned everything we know about WoT by reading books...
  3. Saw a bunch of them in a bookshop (like Joe ST said, a "great swathe of thick black books with coloured, numbered headers"), got curious, bought the first... three, I think it was. Maybe four.
  4. I can't see myself being anything but Brown, really.
  5. Actually, a spike can only transfer one power IIRC, so to make a Mistborn bear you'd need to kill at least sixteen Allomancers.
  6. Could be the Tranquiline Halls, from all the references to them I get the impression they're currently under Odium's control. And if they're supposed to be Roshar's afterlife, I figure they're probably the local area of the Spiritual Realm.
  7. My first thought was that it might be something to do with the "Shards can power the metallic arts directly" thing, like Vin burning the mists instead of metal. Sazed might be able to give things Hemalurgic charges (Feruchemical too, though that raises questions about who could use the metalmind) by putting some of his own power into them.
  8. Yeah, that's what I assumed it was. Makes me even more curious about what it does in Feruchemy and Hemalurgy. Also, I wonder if there's anything unusual about Pushing or Pulling on duralumin. It could be one of the inert alloys that was mentioned, but by the "aluminium = antimagic" logic it might actually be affected more strongly than other metals.
  9. I can't see the Alethi being happy about Dalinar suddenly recruiting the Assassin in White. Things could get very interesting.
  10. Well, there's a line in the prologue - - that seems to indicate that the Heralds' oaths were restricting Odium somehow. Could be some kind of deal between them/Honor and Odium.
  11. I'm pretty sure that one's an Aon, it's got the basic Aon Aon shape in there. Don't think it's one that's appeared anywhere else though.
  12. Now I think about it, I've heard that Black/White are programmed to prevent the in-game Reshiram, Zekrom and Victini from being shiny. Maybe they intend to send shiny ones out over Wifi, but it seems odd for them to go to that kind of trouble for it.
  13. It's catchable in one of those special event areas in Emerald, that's the only way I can think of. I'm curious about how they intend to get Celebi/Jirachi/Manaphy though.
  14. This brings the Physical/Cognitive/Spiritual thing to mind for me, though I suppose if there were only three Shard categories that'd mean they wouldn't be divided evenly.
