  1. Maybe Russell Crowe doesn't have the best voice for Javert, but he absolutely nailed this performance. "Confrontation" from Les Misérables (2012). And another confrontation I love - "Confrontation" from Jekyll & Hyde. Amazing.
  2. Thankfully, no. TPBM likes skipping stones.
  3. Really nice and descriptive! I like the formatting, and the fact that you're an evil writer. (All writers are evil though ) 9/10.
  4. In some ways, in other ways not. TPBM had dissected a frog.
  5. I'm gonna mix allll of the paints together! When making spaghetti
  6. Nah. If you have a bed, why not sleep in it? (Although I have done that, but it was to not infect my siblings.) Describe your greatest flaw in no more than three words.
  7. Welcome to our little corner of the internet! I hope you enjoy your time here!
  8. *giggles* Cute kitty. When you fall off a skyscraper
  9. Where's the tiger? I can hear you!
  10. For some reason, I really want to eat that. (Great art, btw!)
  11. Not at all! It's kind of cute. And I'm quite cynical when it comes to relationships, so it's interesting to see someone so obviously head-over-heels.
  12. Look around, look around... Edit: didn't see the new page. A month or so
  13. Welcome to the Shard! I agree, the prelude is absolutely beautiful. I hope you enjoy your time here!
  14. Welcome!
  15. Hang on, whose squire am I? Any Radiants here?
  16. Yes. What's the most beautiful book cover you've ever seen?
  17. I used to love the Cormoran Strike series. Great dialogue, and so many multifaceted, layered characters, who all had different relationships and ways of interacting with with each other. Robin was my favourite character for so many reasons, I couldn't begin to list them all here. (I actually started to, but deleted it after two paragraphs ;))

The series definitely had its flaws. There was gratuitous sex and gore, a lot of purple prose, and yeah, some transphobia that I didn't recognise until I got older. Still, it was one of my favourites. I must have read it four or five times, in Kindle and in audiobook form.

*sigh* I don't know. I guess this is just a long way of saying I won't be reading the latest one.

  18. Happy birthday, Bookwyrm! I hope you have a wonderful day!
