Children of the Tyrant (GSRP Sci-Fi Prequel)
Argenti replied to Through the Living Wrath's topic in Roleplaying
He walks along. "I presume we're beyond the reach of the Night? I can not sense him." -
I mean it could- I think Nightblood could feed on anti investiture.

Children of the Tyrant (GSRP Sci-Fi Prequel)

Cruish sighs, and steps back from the door. He has been a prisoner before. -
are you referring to this WOB? It does trap investiture, it seems, and especially with the whole all three realms at once thing going on- even the cognitive remnant will be stuck inside. The seeds landing will have consequences for your investiture cycles. Killing them after that will also have consequences. BAM style.

An antimatter blackhole is just a blackhole. They'd merge into a bigger blackhole. (anyway half the galaxy is alread steralized)

hm. Okay so I don't think I understood the physics well enough, but here's what reddit suggests. You can throw in the antimatter, and it would probably blow something up, but nothing would never actually leave the black hole. According to Reddit, the energy created during the reaction would go into the blackhole and increase. I'd assume it's similar enough to investiture, but honestly, I have no idea.

The investiture involved in the star and the blackholes creation would be in there, since it's the matter that makes the singularity itself.

no but it would be *in* the black hole- beyond the event horizon.

I'd be surprised if it does. And technically, the anti-investiture would never touch the maw. You can't reach the singularity.

Hard to do with a shard. Should have blown up your own star

Meh. If the blackhole isn't destroyed it will go around destroying other worlds

To a degree- odium couldn't be redefined as passion, for example. Valor already has started, by showing compassion for his enemies. And the shard won't flee him yet, no matter what he does. Honor stuck with tannavast, despite his oath breaking.

Every shard we've seen was their intent taken to extreme, stripped of context. Honor believe in oaths- it doesn't care about what it means, just the words. Odium is divine wrath- without mercy or compassion to give it direction or temperament. Preservation believes in an absolute stasis, finding all change repugnant. Ruin thinks everything must be destroyed eventually (Ruin was tempered somewhat by Ati- that eventually is important) It stands to reason that Valor would be the same. Courage taken too far is foolishness, and Bravery taken too far is recklessness. Some people can manipulate certain materials- one person light, others plants, another physical matter. It takes something from them, that comes back with rest.

It's bravery to the point of foolishness. No shard believes in moderation- that's their whole thing.

Not terribly. More like an animal that wants to you to brave than a human that can rationalize how it would be stupid to rush needlessly into battls. I don't think it would be ripped from you instantly- but you'd be on thin ice and probably couldn't do it again.

Would be hard given the shard is elsewhere- and is ruin very Valorous? @ThatOneWorldhopper what are your thoughts?

In the Taldain system? Probably. The blackhole probably can't eat an entire shard.

Valor could probably flee, it's just the shard would hate that and he'd almost certainly have it pulled away from him latter down the line.
