  1. "It becomes easier with time." Cruish stares down on his hand. "You find a rythem, eventually."
  2. "Well enough, I suppose." "Well, hello."
  3. Cruish turns towards him, his blade having been wiped clean. "How did it go?"
  4. He walks up the table, and waits. "I expect the others will be out, soon enough?"
  5. I feel like Stonewalkers (the story) should have a regular spoiler period, while the "lore" per se, from outside the story should have some sort of reduced period.
  6. He shrugs, and walks through the door, grabbing a dagger from one goblin.
  7. He turns towards the last goblin. Is he still twitching?
  8. He breaks into a sprint and drops into a sort of spinning dive between the two remaining goblins- sword outstretched.
  9. "Yes. I'd prefer not.... Not be in a boat with him."
  10. Cruish springs to his feet, walking slowly towards the remaining two.
  11. "Oh it is sharp. Intresting." Cruish drops low with uncanny grace, swinging the blade towards the Goblin's leg
  12. Cruish flicks out his blade towards the running one's throat, fast enough that the blade hums as it slices through the air.
  13. He makes a sign upwards, regardless. He waits for them to approach.
  14. He sighs. "I take no pleasure in your deaths, and I am sorry." He looks upwards into the sky. Is there a sun?
  15. Zael seems profoundly unamused. "You've gotta be kidding me." He looks over to @Kansas Stormcursed "You can explain to him what a boat is." "Tell me about it. Let's get four boats."
  16. "And who are you?" Cruish asks, holding his blade to his side.
  17. Anyone else's friends with autism text you smth about frogs and you just go.

    Yeah.

  18. Honestly, I do think so. I don't think every shard would do it, but most shards would. I don't think, say Autonomy and Valor would have many issues, but when their intents are either opposed (Ruin vs Preservation) or overlap (Say, Invention vs Virtuosity) the shards will polarize create issues.
  19. Yeah, I've put in a Request to have that fixed. I search by name and by tag, for that reason. Anyway this wob is relevant to my point about polarizing. It seems if the shards ae even remotely opposite, they'll polarize. I'm looking at you, Scadrial. Oaths and Freedom are pretty well opposed.
  20. Well, they became opposites. If I understand it right, it's kinda just what happens when two shards settle a system. Preservation vs Ruin, Devotion vs Dominion, hell, even Cultivation and Honor were down this path before Odium came. I think Shards naturally polarize, so that they represent the two extremes of ideology. Ruin, despite being the god of Destruction first and foremost, eventluy came to represent all change on scadrial, despite some change clearly being Cultivations. Cultivation was starting to become something of a rulebreaker, while Honor grew more obsessed with rules. Devotion would reasonably become You Serving Others, while Dominion became Other serving you. This Wob
  21. It's Compassion isn't that Devotion? I think I've been doing Devotion wrong. Really should be loyalty and Faith, morso than Compassion.... but wait she's also love, according to a WOB. That works too. Indeed.
  22. @ChickenBonanza Dominion + Virtuosity. ( I know, I know.) Supremacy, Perhaps? Control over others, being better than others [at art]. What do you think? @Ashkaloda Mercy + Virtuosity. Charity? idk. @SpiritOfWrath Ambition + Vituosity. Design (Yeah yeah I know). As in a Plan or Purpose to create art. @ThatOneWorldhopper It's a bit weird, but you could probably grab a seed and some investiture if you wanted to. Valor+ Virtuosity. Prowess. Both "skill or expertise" and "bravery in battle." Doesn't get much better.
  23. "Uhuh." Zael mutters. "Let's find a boat."
