    Lol that's fair. It's really nor relevant to the larger worldbuilding, just that convergences have power and can do wacky things.

    It's just how we've seen it work- at least with any shards that together for a while, a magic system forms between them. Feruchemy, the knights radiant, Voidbinding, each suggest that even if they're mostly unaccessible, they do exist.

    4 shards is alot- that means some 16 magic systems, roshar is already rare for having 3. Mh. Those floating islands? It probably would.
