    “Nameless says that it could have. I don’t know how far I trust Nameless, but he has been here several hundred pages longer than us.”

    Sequence looked at Thaidakar, then back at Nameless. She thought about what Nameless said. If it was true, Thaidakar could have saved Unintelligible. He could have spared Sequence all of that suffering. Oh gods… 200 pages of it. He could have ended all of this before it even started. “I… are you sure…? Thaidakar is a good person, if he could have stopped the Witherlord, I’m… I’m sure he would have…”

    Sequence blinked. “I-I’m sure fixing that would- cause some kind of time… i-issue.” She said, her voice breaking.

    Sequence shook her head. “If both you and Thaidakar could have prevented all of those things, why didn’t you? Why didn’t any other Narrator? My comprehension of all of this is subpar, but what I do understand is that you’re blaming Thaidakar for failing to do something that you weren’t bothered to do either.”

    Sequence punched Nameless in the jaw. “Shut UP! Do you even know what you’re saying?! None of this is Thaidakar’s fault! The Witherlord is too powerful to be stopped at a whim, and you should know this. Thaidakar couldn’t have saved Unintelligible either. Withergeists are tougher than you give them credit for. And my torture, it was my fault and my fault alone that I let that thing into my soul. So stop. Thaidakar isn’t at fault for any of this.”
