    The orb drifted over to Rond, it’s form flickering with crimson spots. It made a low buzzing sound as it began to circle around his head for no clear reason.

    The sphere stopped where it was. It stood in place for a moment, before drifting a bit closer to Calano. It made a small squeaky-buzzing noise and drifted over to Rym. It made the same noise, then drifted back over to Calano's workbench, continuing to... explore?

    Slowly, the sphere's angry hissing/static noise died down and it's color faded back to its original comforting gold hue. It began to drift around, it's form distorting ever so slightly whenever it came into contact with something.

    Oooooooooooo gimme a second. Actually you might want to give me longer than that . My meme making skills are unbelievably bad.

    The orb continued to shy away from the mechanical bird, making humming and buzzing noises and it drifted around the room. Eventually, as the bird tried again to attack the orb, it did something rather unexpected. The warm golden glow changed to harsh crimson and it let out a deafening staticky noise, the grim light casting the entire room in a dark red hue.

    The orb distorted a bit and drifted away from the crow to avoid its beak. It almost seemed… alive? Which was in fact, false, as with Narration, it was possible for the Animus gene to have never existed in the first place due to the fact that plot twists existed.

    The engine continued to rattle and buzz, until finally it just… collapsed. It didn’t explode, is just gently fell to pieces, which revealed a glowing yellow orb in the center. It looked a bit like liquid in a zero gravity environment, it’s shape and form distorting ever so slightly. It gave off a faint warmth, a glowing aura surrounding it.

    The buzzing grew louder, and the glowing brighter. The engine began to shudder violently.

    The engine began to make a low buzzing noise, which seemed to be coming from somewhere inside the engine block. A glowing gold light shone from the cracks and seams where it was bolted together.

    “… I don’t know. Yours? Your planet has orbited its star 731,039 times since your employment.”

    “When it is complete, I’ll be there.” With that, they turned around and walked off into the night.

    “As soon as possible.” The stranger said. “It is more important than you could possibly imagine.”

    It suddenly started raining stale cookies. They made the non-stale cookies very angry, and the two started a war.

    The stranger gently placed a small bundle on the ground in front of them. It appeared to be… an engine, of some sorts. There was a cracked engine block with a completely shattered camshaft, several detached pistons and a broken drivetrain connector. “Fixable?” The stranger asked. “Burns diesel.”

    A cloaked figure stood in the rain. They held something in their arms. “I was told that you fix things.” They said in a distorted voice. Their face was covered by a mask beneath their dark hood.

    “Mythos, you don’t happen to know where to find a Narrator Doctor do you? Nameless is definitely broken.”

    There was a knock at the door. It was loud, demanding attention. Whoever it was seemed urgent.
