The Person Below Me
Rashek's PR Manager replied to The Awakened Salad's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Yes I am. Sorry no details but yeah it's fairly easy to intimidate me. Thank you for your warm welcome and the warning about cookies! I'm already warned, but one can't be too careful with cookies. TPBM is hard to intimidate. -
The Person Below Me
Rashek's PR Manager replied to The Awakened Salad's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Kind of. Though for now I'm mostly active in this fandom (because I'm new here and want to know everyone). TPBM is not active in any fandom other than this one -

Confused about Final Empire history
Rashek's PR Manager replied to cometaryorbit's topic in Mistborn
I like your head-canon! But wouldn't a pre-Ascension love interest, most probably a terriswoman, know of his true identity? What if she leaked the top secret? Ok this thread has reminded me yet agian how little we know when it comes to the history of FE. Even though it's no longer cosmere related, I still want to learn more about TLR's early reign. -
Homeschooling Club
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Starborn42's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Not at all! You explained it clearly. It's just that I studied on my own without my parents' help, which means I didn't have a teacher. Um does that still count as homeschooling? (sorry for my poor English) -
Confused about Final Empire history
Rashek's PR Manager replied to cometaryorbit's topic in Mistborn
A possibility: TLR did have children, who could have strong Allomantic and Feruchemical powers. I can imagine the scenario that some of his children had rebelled against him so he killed them, whose powers were used to create the first inquisitors. The WOBs concerning TLR's children: -
Who is your favorite era 2 character
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Wayne's Unlucky Hat's topic in Mistborn
It just dawned on me that I don't have a favourite era 2 character. They are all pleasant to read, though, just not particularly relatable. If I have to pick one fave, then I'd say Steris who I have much sympathy with. -
cosmere related unscratchable itch
Rashek's PR Manager replied to melaan enjoyer's topic in Introduce Yourself!
Welcome! I used to have a similar syndrome and my suggestion for you is to write down whatever crosses your mind. Create your own diagram! That's what I do to reduce my cosmere-related anxiety, lest it overwhelms me. Have fun exploring the cosmere! -
Homeschooling Club
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Starborn42's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Not very familiar with the term homeschooling, I don't know if this counts, but I dropped out of high school after a year because of depression and studied at home for the next two years, preparing for College Entrance Examination on my own, during which I used school textbooks. On Wikipedia it's said that So I guess my two-year studying at home fits the bill? -
Why wasn't TLR more worried about the Pits?
Rashek's PR Manager replied to cometaryorbit's topic in Mistborn
That's hilarious. I'm imagining a system of enclosed chutes made of metal to confuse Ati.- 33 replies

Why wasn't TLR more worried about the Pits?
Rashek's PR Manager replied to cometaryorbit's topic in Mistborn
Now I'm curious as to why TLR used human obligators at all. Did those obligators transport the mined atium straight to the Kandra Trustwarren or did they simply pass atium to Kandras, not knowing where those atium ended up? I originally thought it was the former but the latter could be possible as well.- 33 replies

Even if a natural Fullborn is impossible, twinborns still pose too great a threat for Rashek, I think. Just imagine what damage Miles could've done in the Final Empire. Besides, it'd expose Rashek as a fraud.

What do we know about the Terris Dominance?
Rashek's PR Manager replied to ShardlessVessel's topic in Mistborn
I recently read from my copy of Wrought of Copper that TLR knew that he hadn't succeeded in eradicating Feruchamy. Rashek, along with some obligators and most inquisitors, was aware of the existence of not only the Feruchamists but the Terris Synod as well, and yet he forbade any attacks on them, thus causing consternation. Has Brandon really agreed to this? While not directly contradicting with the original series, it doesn't make any sense, at least to me. Weren't Feruchamists the greatest threat to Rashek? Why would he leave them be? By the way, thank you for your recommendation! Wrought of Copper is a true page-turner through which I learnt a lot more about Terris people and their history -
I also hope it happens every night! Yet, it's a shame that I always forget nearly everything in my dreams when I wake up (no lucid dream for me). Only bits of the storyline remain, no matter how hard I try to recollect. For example, on this occasion, I can't recall my conversation with Kell or the measures we later took against Ati. What I do remember is that I dealt with Straff Venture. While dreaming, I was like: even if I had to die, I needed to drag Straff along.

(Warning: whole Era 1 spoiler) Ok, so last night I had this really really strange dream in which my soul was teleported to Era 1 Scadrial and took up the Lord Ruler's body… That's to say, I sort of became Rashek, although I still retained my memory. However, this teleportation was not well-timed at all, as I quickly found out that I was sitting in a carriage, right on my way to kill Kelsier, which indicated that I only had hours to live. Well, despite the fact that I find Rashek fascinating, I don't mind him dying in the book at all, for the asshole deserved it. But in my dream, with my soul trapped in Rashek's body, I was afraid that I would be killed with him and as a result, got sent directly back to earth before meeting all the characters and having fun. So while the carriage was rolling down the street, I tried to come up with a plan to save this dumb tyrant whose body I possessed. The most obvious option seemed to be killing Vin at the earliest opportunity. Yet this would mess with Preservation's plan and possibly doom the whole world, not to mention that I've always loved Vin and wanted her to stay alive. (The end of HOA literally broke me) In the end, I decided to talk with Kelsier (another one of my favorite characters) and tell him everything. You know, even if he still decided to execute me, with my information, the crew stood a better chance against Ruin and maybe Scadrial wouldn't suffer casualties as heavy as that of WOA and HOA. Then everything just …… happened. I offered Elend a Lerasium, made him my heir, and voluntarily stepped down. My last instruction as Lord Ruler was to execute Straff Venture, eliminating the drama queen in book 2. That bastard definitely had it coming. As for my loyal inquisitors, they had to be detained, sorry. Having learnt that he could become Ruin's agent, Marsh insisted on committing suicide. So determined was he that nobody was able to change his mind. Luckily, his little brother knocked him out and tied him into a knot in case he tried to do anything stupid. Afterwards, there was not much I could do. Therefore, I went into hiding and had some nice little conversation with our crazy Ati who was in helpless confusion. What took place after that was quite blurry. In a word, we saved the world. Happy ending achieved! Sazed ascended, and offered to transfer me to another planet in Cosmere. It was very considerate of him, since the new Scadrial just had no place for me. Most people still detest me, especially the Terris people, which was fair. Gladly, I thanked Sazed (or Harmony) and left. That was when I woke up. Hahaha.

The Lord Ruler and I (Parody)
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Comatose's topic in Sanderson Fan Works
Love your works! They are sad, beautiful and tragic at the same time. The first time I found the snippets on the Mistborn RP site, I got so excited that I translated them into Chinese in order to share them with some of my friends. Initially I had wanted to post the translated version on Chinese social media but couldn't find a way to contact you and ask for permission. It'd be really kind of you if you could allow me to post my translation online for other Chinese mistborn fans to see. I will of course credit you and include the link to this topic in my post. -
Who would hang out with Inquisitors?
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Maddie The Survivor's topic in Mistborn
Me too! As a TLR fangirl, I'm dying for a chance to hang out with his Inquisitors. Just imagine all the stuff about Rashek they can share with me! Hell, maybe I can even talk them into telling me what songs Rashek would play in his shed. Plus, it's unlikely for them to kill me. I don't have any cosmere magical power, which means they can't make any spikes out of me. So why bother? Still, I need to be really careful to avoid annoying them, but it's worth the risk. Joining their ranks would be equally fascinating. I always imagine that Inquisitors have a good working relaationship with each other. After all, they draw lots to decide who gets the big job. -
lord ruler Gender-bent Lord Ruler!
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Rashek's PR Manager's topic in Mistborn
Of course he is hot. It's a universally recognized fact! Both Alendi and Vin have confirmed this, calling our beloved Rashek handsome. And don't forget that their times are one thousand years apart. But I'm afraid that I can't agree with you on the nothing wrong part ( unless you're joking ) Aaaaand I've sent the artist your compliments. She is very happy to learn that you appreciate her work. -
lord ruler Gender-bent Lord Ruler!
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Rashek's PR Manager's topic in Mistborn
Yeah, I see the problem now. You are absolutely right. It'll mess with the whole plot twist. However, what motivates me to genderbend TLR is not to insert this female version into the mistborn storyline. It's the character concept itself that interests me. Someone who, despite their madness, managed to pull off a plan through one thousand years and continued to fight ( although in a increasingly twisted and condemned way ) till their dying day. Perhaps I'll base my own book's heroine on it, with some modifications of course. -
lord ruler Gender-bent Lord Ruler!
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Rashek's PR Manager's topic in Mistborn
Wow now I'm thinking that genderbending Rashek will actually make Marsha's turning into an Inquisitor more reasonable. In the original plot, all ten Inquisitors stationed at TLR's palace were male. Maybe, just maybe, a female Lord Ruler would be more inclined to have female Inquisitors around herself -
lord ruler Gender-bent Lord Ruler!
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Rashek's PR Manager's topic in Mistborn
Totally. It's unlikely that Rachette would find other women's suffering worthy of her empathy. I mean, from the TLR's point of view, she is the Hero of Ages, far above ( feeling ) anything. Whatever she does is justified for she is trying to save the freaking world. As for the plot, well, I'm only imagining a female Lord Ruler for artistic purpose now, though I won't rule out the possibility of future fanfics that focus on Rachette's early years, her cynicism, her anger, her pettiness, and eventually, her rise to power. There's no denying the fact that genderbending TLR will weaken Sazed's aha moment. Yet I think the moment itself is, from a certain perspective, a cliche. Besides, it's kind of ironic that despite that moment, Sazed, a man, not Vin, ended up as the prophesied hero. Soooo…… And yes, I love the idea of Marsha as well!!! Marsha, the female leader of skaa rebellion who *hates* her trouble-making little brother Kelsier… Hey, why am I getting Leia & Luke vibe from this -
lord ruler Gender-bent Lord Ruler!
Rashek's PR Manager replied to Rashek's PR Manager's topic in Mistborn
Well, initially I supposed that as a woman, TLR wouldn't have sanctioned rape. However, being born a Terris man didn't stop Rashek from enslaving his own people. So yeah, I agree, Rachette will be equally terrifying
