Thaidakar the Ghostblood

Figuring out things for your book is just so satisfying- 

Especially when it's hilarious.

I came up with this sequence where the mafia boss dude is going to try to force his son (who is, in fact, one of the POVs) to.. ya know with the other MC. the son is going to say a few things to make his dad think he's going to go along with it and the other MC is ready to murder him and his father with her bare hands if he tries anything.

Once his dad his gone, she's gonna say something sarcastic like "Are you going to really try? this time (they've had a duel earlier in the story) I'll sc-score a few hits on you. You w-won't survive the night."

The guy will look at her as if she's given a great joke and then burst out laughing, "Please, give me some credit. I've given us enough time to talk while my Dad thinks we're..." He scrunched his nose. "And he thinks that I'd really..." He shook his head. 

She looked at him skeptically, "Is that so?"

"Yes, otherwise I would've said and done some things a lot differently. For one," He said slyly, "I would've gotten a guard to stand outside with a gun at the ready in case you tried anything. Second-"

"Oh, if I tried anything."

"Oh, be quiet."

She glared at him, "I wo-won't be quiet! You're the son of a... a..."

He rolled his eyes, "Believe me, I know."

And... that's basically what I was thinking. And now I have to go shriek in excitement because that was exactly what I needed to write to get myself to realize who the characters are. Especially the guy.
