I tried

I really tried.

But I can't make myself finish TASM. I watched like 15 minutes of it and couldn't get further. The music was fantastic, Andrew Garfield is too good looking to play Peter Parker in the way that he looks like a 20 year old kind of good looking and not a teenager kind of good looking. (that was my reaction. They cast too good looking people to play his type of character. **Tom Holland is amazing as Spiderman and as he was a teen when it started, it works nicely**)

Also, it felt so stale, so money grab. The dialogue was odd. I hated their actress for Aunt May. The guy they cast as Uncle Ben was trying, but... no-one can replace the real Uncle Ben from the ogs. It had less passion to the making of the film like other Spiderman movies I've seen haver had. Emma Stone as Gwen was actually a good choice. 

So many cheap story telling tricks. So many oddly cast actors and actresses. The villain is easily known as soon as you see him. The whole thing at the beginning was spectacular though. It was not written very well however. (or, at least, the first 16 minutes weren't.)

Again, James Newton Howard is amazing at scoring this movie.
