“Hm?” Allera looked at the viewer in concern. The ship did seem to register another ship within eyesight. It was already changing course to avoid it.

“We’re not going back. Fine or not, trauma exists.” A spark of hope lit up inside Allera’s mind, which they quickly smothered. “I thought Ayia said that universe-hopping can’t be controlled.”

“Oh.” They hadn’t thought of that. “Ok. Where… should we go instead?”

My vote’s for hariel (so majority wins out) -
While Strohger and Variance interrogated the shapeshifter, Allera walked over to the control panel and began flying the ship back towards the planet where they'd started their day. Maybe if they could get back there, everything would go back to normal. Not that they really wanted normal. But normal was familiar, and that was enough for now.
