    Alissya collapsed against the wall, her energy spent. The wound must have been fatal if it had taken up that much energy. Panting, she slid into a sitting position, too tired to support her weight. She should probably try to get farther away from the fighting, but after running around with practically no food in her stomach and healing the injury, she could barely keep herself awake. If she could at least recede farther into the alleyway… Alissya’s head rolled against her chest as she drifted into a deep sleep, unable to move an inch.

    So the simulator is being poopy and isn’t letting me edit the tributes, meaning I can’t actually use the scudding simulator. Sigh. On another note, some of the longer names I have to shorten when typing them in because of a character limit. Also, for the people who have changed your profile pictures since you fist signed up, the formatting is weird with the way I recorded your pfps so I have to use your new ones (Unless you gave me a separate picture).

    Alissya dashed through alleyways until she came into an opening that revealed two figures. The first was a man laying on the ground, bleeding profusely. The second was a young woman with a gun aimed at a target Alissya couldn’t see. The man was obviously in much pain. Holding out her hand, still cloaked in the shadows cast by the buildings to either side of her, she used her powers. It was like trying to harness the energy inside her and push it out into the other human. A soft green glow appeared over the surface of what Alissya assumed was a stab wound. The glow was like the surface of a thick bubble, little swirls of brown moving around like a liquid. She grew tired as the energy seeped out of her, leaving her weaker than when she started. It was worth it, though. Other people needed her energy more than her. Other people had friends, families, lives. They had a reason for going on for another day, while Alissya had the powers to help them do so.

    Alissya heard the sounds of fighting. Fighting meant wounds. Wounds meant the need for healing. And the need for healing was like a beacon for her. A moth to a flame. But fighting meant danger. Danger meant the possibility of… bad things. But, needs overpowered possibilities. Alissya crept towards the sounds of fighting.

    During conference, I colored dragon coloring pages, ate Girl Scout cookies, and loved it. I think that this general conference has been my favorite so far! I almost wish conference was every week

    I’d probably bring Kaladin or Kelsier because they both have tendencies to survive against the odds. Or Hoid, because… Hoid. What question do you want to be asked? What is the answer to that question? Why did you choose that question?

    A woman walks into the building holding a small girl- Three years old, perhaps- and sets down the child. The girl, dressed in a dark purple dress, yells in an impossibly loud voice, “I WANT A DANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEX!”

    I’m back! I agree with the first-to-die-get-the-stand-in-characters idea. I think we should start sometime this week, if everyone’s ready.

    So… Looks like I disappeared again!

    For like five weeks.

    Um.

    Whoops.

    Well, life happens, I guess!

    Some things that happened while I was away:

    • I had a really bad day consisting of things like being out of butter for my toast, being late to school, a fake fire alarm, having to miss 95% of my 6th period class because a girl decided it was a good idea to vape in the locker room, and hectic after-school activities.
    • WE GOT AN OCULUS!
    • I went to see a play put on by the high school my brother goes to and it was awesome. (It was based on the CLUE board game/movie, I think?)
    • I read the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini and I thought it was amazing, though some of my cousins thought that series was a snooze-fest. I honestly don’t see why, but I guess my opinion backs my theory that I don’t often see the flaws in things unless they’re blatantly obvious or someone else points them out. (Why be negative when you can be positive, after all?) (Also side note about the Inheritance Cycle: I highly suggest reading it if you haven’t already. The world-building is near Sanderson level in depth and there are DRAGONS.)
    • One day in church, I realized that Kaladin and the Joseph story in Genesis in the Bible have frighteningly similar stories. Just think about it for a minute.
    • I co-wrote a story with an AI. Well, I started one, that is. I think that I might post it on here when I finish with the first draft or so.
    • Wicked (the musical) came to my city and my family went and HOLY COW WAS IT GOOD EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEE IT IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE AND THE SONGS HAVE BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD 24/7 AND IT’S JUST SO GOOD! My favorite song from it is probably Popular because it’s so fun to sing :D
    • I was diagnosed with Brandofandonitis and ordered the highest dosage of Quadrovela because of how severe my condition is.
    • For spirit week at my school, there was a ‘fandom’ day and I dressed as a Mistborn and was constantly saying “We Mistborn need not make sense. It is beneath us.” My friend dressed as Spensa (to the best of her abilities) and I even brought my Doomslug plushie for her to carry around.
    • While watching General Conference, I colored some coloring pages with dragons on them and ate Girl Scout cookies. It was very enjoyable.
    • I re-read Cytonic and we finally bought the Reckoners series for me to re-read. We found a hardcover box set on Amazon for really cheap, which was awesome.
    • It’s spring break! Yay! I finally got my room clean and today we went to a trampoline park. It was super fun.
    • The Skyward Flight collection came!!! Signed and numbered: #1864!

    Now if you’ll excuse me while I go through my 180 notifications.

      I forgot to mention that for the last day before spring break, we had a game day in my ELA/History class and I brought Call to Adventure: the Stormlight Archive and I played with my teacher and two of my classmates. (I won, probably because I’ve actually played it before.) It was very fun :P
