    Recently finished the third Night Angel book, and man, Brent Weeks gets so much undeserved flack for his endings. I liked Lightbringer, but I loved this ending (I could have been happy with what felt like a climax a third of the way through, but I got something even better). I have definitely seen the progression of his skills from the first Night Angel book to the later Lightbringer books, but they're all pretty fun. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep going around book two, but man am I glad I did. This was truly a fun ride. Looking forward to Nemesis. I also finished Earth Afire (I think) by Orson Scott Card. It was good. I'm looking forward to the third book, but it's not my favorite Enderverse book by far. It's also not my least favorite. Now on to Dune Messiah. Hopefully I make it past the first chapter this time.

    Shield duels will never result in two people shielded. Unless you've somehow got a three person chain going on. Winner will be decided by all the OoA tiebreaker rules, then roleblock the other person before they can do their own shield.

    Day Two - Dead, and Missing, Forever ~ The mobs had dispersed throughout the night, but their dispersal had made them weak. Alone. Free for the Black Ajah to prey on. A novice was the one who discovered the body. Her scream woke up every Aes Sedai nearby. From then, the awakening spread like the plague throughout the tower. They swarmed the floor where CadCom’s body had been found. It had all the makings of a mob. The Amyrlin forced her way through the crowd, her investigators flanking her. They forced them out of the victim's room. CadCom’s body lay mangled against the ground, his eyes wide in horror. The rest of the room was searched with only just enough evidence. Soon they left the room, and the Amyrlin announced that the victim was innocent. She and her retinue threw up protection. The mob whipped, searching for a new target for their collective anger. Meanwhile, the Amyrlin asked her retinue. “Where is Araris Valerian?” ~ She’s not a woman,… She’s an Aes Sedai. Don’t think of her as a woman. ~ CadCom has been killed! He was an Aes Sedai of the White Tower. Araris Valerian has been killed! He was the Lord of Luck. Some things to note: PMs are essentially closed. You may only use any Warder PMs you may have been sent, though you can send in your actions to be able to PM next turn. Previously opened PMs may continue to be used only if one member has used the action There is a two vote minimum, the top player must have two votes to die Ties of the vote will be resolved by a coinflip, make your sacrifices or, if you're not on good terms with the gods, I do take bribes This cycle will end at 7:30 AM Mountain Time on Saturday the 1st of June Try not to die intravenously, and have fun!     The Forsaken auto success only affects the RNG of a weave's success. It does not prevent the weave from being be blocked by outside interference such as roleblocks.

    Night One - A Coin, and a Crowd, on the Edge ~ The Warder’s death had put the White Tower into a frenzy. Once the body was found, the news spread faster than official channels could react. Within half an hour, the normally collected Aes Sedai stood next to regular people in an angry and dangerous mob. Within an hour of the body's discovery, a new body was found. Not a victim of cold murder but rather hot mob violence, Royal was found dead. Once the mob dispersed, certain authoritative Aes Sedai investigated Royal. The unease only grew with the announcement that they had been innocent. But night had fallen, so while no new mob could yet form, quiet murmurings began. Rumor spread, accusations were cast in nearly every breath, but beneath it all was anticipation. Beneath the Aes Sedai mask, was fear. Who would be next on the Black Ajah's list? ~ In the face of darkness, embrace the light within you. ~ The Wheel turns on, day becomes night and an Aes Sedai becomes a corpse. The night cloaks the White Tower, but ye fools will not cease your scheming. Wierdo has been executed. They were an Aes Sedai of the White Tower. Vote Count: Wierdo (4): Kasimir, RoyalBeeMage, Stick.     That wording means you can Soothe it and make it not count instead of move it if you wish. It also means you can make someone who didn’t vote essentially vote for somebody. No. There is also the Amyrlin Seat role.

    Day One: Let the Dice (and the Heads) Roll ~ The hall was oddly empty. Normally novices and Accepted would be bustling about, but the hall only held a warder set on an errand, and a gleeman. “Hey, hey, Dargven, I want your thoughts on a joke I've been working on.” The gleeman ran up, his patched cloak swirling around him. “I don't have time for your nonsense, gleeman.” The warder didn't even turn to look. He was too busy for an acquaintance that he found rather annoying. “Just wait one minute.” “Fine. What is it?” He stopped and turned, scowling. The gleeman stopped, slightly out of breath from catching up to the gleeman. “It goes like this, a Myrddraal, a Forsaken, and a Dragon walk into the White Tower.” The warder scrunched his brow. “What's the jo—” His words turned to a gurgle with the plunge of the man's dagger. “The joke is you.” He wiped the bloody dagger on the warder’s cloak. “Just be glad you don't have to see this tower fall into the hands of the Great Lord you hate so much.” When the body was discovered, the culprit was long gone. The message, however, was clear as day, and received like a dagger to the gut. ~ Dovie'andi se tovya sagain! ~ Welcome to LG100 - Death is Lighter Than a Feather.
