  1. Long Game 105 Night One: Evaluation We had only just arrived at Base Camp and already conversation had turned to evaluating our mental states. The moment we had finished setting up, the Psychologist insisted on taking everyone in for private evaluations. Nobody spoke while we waited our turns, but I know everyone was thinking the same thing. Who evaluates the Psychologist? They were frighteningly silent once finished. No amount of prodding could convince them to divulge their findings. It was the beginning of the first night, and already our trust was failing. ~ Welcome to LG105 Night One! (Remember that it's not actually a night because they're swapped for flavor) All role PMs should be out, but PM me privately if you haven't received yours. Things to Note: You may vote today, but all actions will take place next turn. Votes must be placed in Bolded Red Remember that all italics are purely flavor! And even the non italicized mechanical text can be misleading without full context. This turn will end at 12:30 in two days, on Saturday the 26th of April. Players:
  2. Quick, what's the best PAFO picture?
  3. I wonder if randomly giving some players more Breaths would help a bit. Let a couple have 2-3, giving some more mind game potential. Also taking this time to shamelessly self promote my game that is in sign-ups! It's a very odd sort of Long Game set in the world of Annihilation. Come check it out!
  4. Thank you @Ashbringer for running this very fun game. Congratulations elims, all hail Darth Wiz! Also, great job @Hoid Slayer! I went semi-inactive at a really unfortunate time there, but what can you do.
  5. Long Game 105 - Obliteration ~ Our mission was simple: to continue the government's investigation into the mysteries of Area X, slowly working our way out from base camp. The expedition could last days, months, or even years, depending on various stimuli and conditions. We had supplies with us for six months, and another two years’ worth of supplies had already been stored at the base camp. We had also been assured that it was safe to live off the land if necessary. All of our foodstuffs were smoked or canned or in packets. Our most outlandish equipment consisted of a measuring device that had been issued to each of us, which hung from a strap on our belts: a small rectangle of black metal with a glass-covered hole in the middle. If the hole glowed red, we had thirty minutes to remove ourselves to “a safe place.” We were not told what the device measured or why we should be afraid should it glow red. After the first few hours, I had grown so used to it that I hadn't looked at it again. We had been forbidden watches and compasses. ~ Welcome to LG105: Obliteration! WARNING: This game will be a partial blackout and technically flipless. This game will also be atypical in the nature of solving. It will revolve more around exploration and discovery than solving and social deduction. There will be no outright lies within the rules, but some things may be misleading in the greater context of the rules. If any of those things aren't your cup of tea, come join me in the spec doc. This will be roleplay and flavor heavy, set in the world of the book Annihilation with elements from the greater Southern Reach trilogy (have not read the new one, sorry). I encourage everyone to create character personalities, though for extra fun you may wish to omit names and/or professions until the game begins. Anything in italics is strictly flavor text and has no bearing on the truth or on what you should do. Executions will be a smaller part of this game than usual, so be prepared for the long haul if you do sign up. No slacking off and taking the easy way out >.> With all that out of the way, my IM will be X and I, recently renamed to @The Unknown Area, will be the GM. The game will start in about a week on Thursday the 24th of April at 12:30 Central Time. Here's what you know of the rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BY56XTuhRASpBhKa4Y3otLq0Koh300w2zeAPxEY-gok/edit?usp=drivesdk If you need it in the forum let me know, but I'd rather not go through the trouble of porting the formatting over unless necessary because I am lazy and mobile is hard. 6. There's only two more hours left in the cycle, and I doubt I can get enough people to move their votes in time. For what it's worth, elims aren't normally on main village trains. It's for this very reason, they don't want the heat of being responsible for two dead villagers. I'd look toward the side train and no voters, Stink probably first of all off my death. Wiz is however my only chance at self preservation if anyways even online to hear my defense.
  7. Sorry everyone. Just got done with a wrestling tournament and found out my finger's fractured. Reading back up now.
  8. Alright yep, Raven. Raven is theatrical, but not this theatrical.
  9. Rereading is for chumps with bad memories. Definitely. Wrt my "Kas won't like this" I knew I was breaking from my meta by voting someone, which already messes with him enough, but I made it worse by joining a train, which is a further deviation from my meta and was also a village read for Kas.
