  1. Nope. This character has access to some form of investiture.
  2. Tiaen sat uncomfortably. Are... are there people who aren't done yet?
  3. Nope. Maybe I'll tell you later. Anyway, this character is from Scadrial.
  4. "No." She shrugged. "Savants are rare. Cosmere aware savants are even rarer. I don't think that's been tested before. And even if it had, one breath wouldn't be of much use."
  5. She shook her head. "I knew the risk when I started Soulcasting." She said somberly. "Burning Doloken! How do I explain..." She thought for a moment. "Have you ever been addicted to something? Because if you have, imagine going through withdrawal. If not, well, I don't know how else to explain this." She grabbed a book from her bag, and walked solemnly to the nearest bench, and sat down to read.
  6. "Yeah." She said glumly. She pulled out a rope. "My breath to yours." She felt hollow without her breaths.
  7. She winced. "Ouch." She muttered. I had a feeling that he was going to suggest something like that... "Uh... That's easier said than done..." How in Damnations eleventh name am I supposed to worldhop without investiture?
  8. She grimaced. I'm going to have to go to the Nightwatcher, aren't I. "Okay. So, what's your solution?"
  9. "Uh..." She had a concerned look on her face. "And what do you mean by that." She asked slowly.
  10. I've just got to say: Keteks are REALLY hard to write. Also, I liked your roast.
  11. "Yup." She said gloomily. "And not just any kind of Savantism, I'm a Soulcasting Savant."
  12. She shrugged. "Sure." She said. I'm tired. She grabbed a bronze vial, drank it, and burned it. She felt a jolt of energy, and stood up. "Okay. Now I can actually do stuff without passing out." She said, with a bit more energy than she had earlier. She was still missing her usual optimism, though.
  13. "Rusts, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be putting more on your plate. You have enough to worry about." She said with a sniff.
  14. "I... I don't know." She whispered. She put her knees up, and hid her face in her knees to hide her tears. "We don't know enough. There are very few Soulcasters as it is, and even fewer Savants. A Soulcaster like mine is even rarer." She looked up. "I... I'll think about it. I don't think we should just surge forward like an advancing stormwall. I need to read more about Savants." She shook her head. "It's not fair." She said, tears streaming down her face. "Tin Savants get extremely enhanced senses. Pewter Savants heal quickly. Soulcasting Savants turn into whatever it is that they soulcast."
  15. "The only time I can think of that someone became... Well... Not a savant was because of the direct influence of a shard." She said flatly. "And I really don't want to have to deal with the Nightwatcher's boons and banes right now."
  16. "Ayia, I don't think this can be fixed. Spiritwebs aren't things that are really fixable." She said miserably.
