"The raids have been happening about every other week. The amount of raiders are varied. No one really seems to know how many are attacking. We're able to drive them back, but a couple goblins got in and out before we were able to defeat them during the last raid. That's all I know." He went back to work.

I'm not going to kill people, or steal their souls. Also, I don't want to be mind controlled by some random soother.

She snickered. "For some reason, I don't think the ravens would appreciate you calling them defective." "How do we defeat these ravens? Also, does anyone here know how to fight, and if so, would said person be willing to teach me? 'Cause at the moment, I'm a bit of a wimp."

The bartender chuckled. "Superstitious nonsense. We've been raided more than normal, which has led people to make up legends and rumors. But that could be for a number of reasons that make much more sense than an army of monsters." The bartender turned around and went back to work.

I'd be a Mistborn, for one reason. I could always become a Radiant later. I would not be able to become a Mistborn later. Bam. Logic.

"Yep." "But, he said that Costco's are evil, and we should instead go to IKEA." She said, pointing at Cassander. "However, before we do that, I say we go to a library, and take books on agriculture, electricity, and stuff like that. That way, we can know what to do if we run out of food, or need power."

Columbia patted down her pockets to see if she had anything in them. She then looked in the small bag she was carrying. She had her Armbands, which she was not pawning, and Erin's armband, which she was also not pawning. She also had her knife, but she was less likely to pawn that than she was the armbands. She rummaged through her bag. She had nothing of value that she would be willing to pawn. Eh. Whatever.

"Eh. I'm used to it. I just hadn't been moving for a little while."
-
"Okay..." She followed close behind, wincing as pain shot up her leg.

She sighed, and sat on the floor, willing herself to blend into the background.

"So. What, exactly, are we doing?" She asked

It was early morning in the city of Maplecrest. People were just starting to leave there houses. The city was one of the smaller cities in the area, but it included a tavern, 2 inns, a market, and a church, as well as other businesses, such as a blacksmith, carpenter, leatherworker, and a tailor. There was also a library and a university. There were many houses, and a few farms that could be found at the outskirts of the city. Most of the people in the town seemed tense. Many looked as though they hadn't slept in days. A few seemed completely panicked. At the tavern, there were whispers of an army being built, led by a powerful magic user of unknown skill.

Crap. What do I do now. She looked around the room awkwardly. "What exactly do we do here?" She asked quietly.

She pumped her fist. "Nice!" She snorted. "I can definitely keep a secret."

Yes. After Tani gets me a character, I think we could start playing.

"Well, What I can do can be extremely dangerous. My friend's sister used too much fire magic, and turned into what is known as a Devoured of fire. Also, having magic... can be really weird." She said.
-
"Good. I'm sick of people judging me because of that." Easy there Coll. We want to join them. Well it's true! "Uh, I saw that some of you have magic skills, so I doubt you'll freak out." Okay... what do I do. Soul tapping is out. I don't want to knock anyone out. Maybe I shape a ball of fire? No. Water. "Okay... Just, gimme a minute." She unscrewed the lid of her water bottle and dumped it out. She concentrated, and the water didn't hit the ground, but instead formed into a ball. She then made the water go back into the water bottle, and screwed the lid back on. "I can do other things, but some of it can be dangerous." She said. "I can manipulate fire, water, air, earth, souls, and the void."
-
She blinked. "What do you mean?" She said suspiciously. "This isn't because of my leg, is it?"
-
She bit her lip to prevent herself from making a joke. Most of the jokes she made were kinda rude. "Yep." She exited the bush. She was wearing jeans, black tennis shoes, and a black t-shirt. "So." She said, awkwardly. "Uh, would you all mind if I joined your group? Temporarily?"
