    The random bystander sighed. This was going to be interesting. She didn't really know anyone, so she wouldn't vote. At least, not today. She tuned her stringed instrument. It was completely unique here, and no one in this village would have seen anything like it before. She smiled, and started to play the way she had been taught. The music almost seemed to tell a story. She played as a small crowd gathered around her. She finished her song, and after a moment, the crowd dispersed. "Be careful who you chose to vote for." She said to the dispersing crowd. "You see, it's the terror of knowing what this world is about." She sighed. "You don't want to have to be watching some good friends scream 'let me out' as they die. And you definitely don't want to be one of the people who helps kill innocent people. Be thorough, and don't jump at wraiths in the mist." She then got up, and walked off to find another audience.

    "Yours is more bulky. Plus, they are probably fairly hard to sleep with." She sighed. "And do the experiments really have to make sense?"

    "No offence, but that makes me feel much better about my tail." She grinned.

    She groaned. "Now that was awkward for about a month. Eventually, they altered my pants. And my tail moves. I think it moves depending on my emotions."

    "I think someone thought it would be funny." She sighed. "You see, my last name is Fox."

    She grinned. This guy is kind of funny. "I have a fox tail. And they enhanced my senses. Oh, and my fox tail has a mind of its own, which makes sitting down a nightmare. Or laying down on my back.

    Shade tried to watch the kid without making it obvious that she was watching the kid. She slowly ate her ice cream.

    The random bystander sat on a stool, instrument in hand. She began to play. The tune was melodic, quiet, and peaceful. She played impeccably, and somehow was able to convey emotion. She played and played and played all night.

    Mallory sighed. "Well. Because it's obvious neither of you are going to give up, I guess I can tell you about what they did to me. When I was in the lab, my hearing and, unfortunately, smell was improved. I think they may have given me a fox's senses. I don't know about sight, because I kept my eyes closed the whole time. I also have a fox tail. While I can't currently use my enhanced senses, I can move my tail." She sighed, feeling annoyed. "Dang it! There it goes again! My stupid tail sticks out in a weird position when I get frustrated."
