I think Investiture functions like dark energy, like reverse gravity/cosmological constant, in space-time,. The further Investiture moves from its source, the more force is drawn to that center. I can't remember where but the spheres of Stormlight grow extremely heavy as they move off world in the Cognitive Realm. Investiture in a person has an easier ability to move. I think Nightblood acts as a black hole for Investiture.

A possible, but unlikely theory would be that it is Kalak in the Cognitive Realm and the line must connect between the realms. Another possibility might be a traitor as @Kingsdaughter613, which would be evidence against Nale being the traitor and instead one of the other Heralds.

My second favorite series is the Stormlight Archive. I'd rather Mistborn be erased forever than to have people bicker over the gaps in pages. Thanks for the support!

I am SazedHarmony. I have been reading the Cosmere for the past 10 or so years. Never really looked at the Shard except for the Coppermind. Mistborn is my favorite series and my favorite character is myself.
