Ji grumbled something quietly. “The pile that keeps getting bigger every minute I spend here,” he muttered, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “Look, I dunno who sent you or what you want, but we’re going to have to get moving unless you want to be behind bars for the rest of your life.”

“Great,” Ji said, his blades finally disappearing as well as his muddled senses. “Add him to the pile, but let’s get out of here. We’ve already drawn enough attention from the Pacis as is.”

Ji growled as his blades missed, if only barely. He blinked, thinking too long, his senses muddled. After an eternity, he tried jerking them to meet his enemy, but… couldn’t? Well, they were moving towards his enemy, but very, very slowly. He tried pushed his power harder, feeling it tug painfully, but was still moving slowly. Ji tried fighting against the slowness, but found trouble. It was working… sort of. Everything seemed blurry, even in his head. It was like watching a child walk through molasses: Slow, sticky, but making towards the target destination. His veins glowed brighter, the ghostly blades becoming more solid in response. Growling deeper, Ji forced his blades to continue moving towards his target, aiming for the shoulders, though very, very slowly.

Ji rose an eyebrow at Elya, then turned in the direction where she’d thrown the dagger. His scowl grew deeper as he regarded the stranger. People always interrupted at the wrong time. However, this one was different. Something in the stranger’s eyes was off. Ji couldn’t put his finger on it, but he knew that this person was out to kill. It could be for any one of them. If any of their reputations proceeded them, the assassin could be sent to kill all of them, and Ji wouldn’t put it past him if his contractor had put him up to killing all of them; though, he highly doubted that it had been the Pacis that’d ordered it. Veins alight, astral blades shot towards the assailant, intending to drive the man into the wall.

then that begs the question: if you’ve created me, then you should know what I look like, yes? If you ever need help, I can relate my experiences. I ain’t that great of an artist, but I’m more than willing to help. Also, tip: Draw every day. Doesn’t have to be much, as long as you’re exercising dem creative juices. You won’t see the difference immediately, but it will be there.

I’ve been drawing ever since I figured out the concept of putting a pencil to paper makes something cool, but I’ve been “seriously” drawing for about five, almost six years now. I wouldn’t say I have “natural talent,” bc everything I’ve been doing has come from experience and my own personal studies. I haven’t taken any art classes, if that’s what you’re wondering; I’ve been learning as I go, finding the ins and outs of what I draw before finding and settling on a more anime-esque style. how did you figure it out

He turned sharply towards her. “I didn’t give a test,” Ji snapped, but then rubbed his forehead. “But if I did initially give one, yes. You passed.”

Y’all probably know the drill by now. “Emperors Arrival”: Bro, nice visual effects! Also, pretty sure it’s stop-motion, and I applaud you for having the patience to do that. That fight scene was really well played out and I can tell how much effort was put into it. The Emperor seems like a cool dude, who could also serve my head on a silver platter without me even realizing until it’s too late. Very solid, and there ain’t nothing wrong with that. “Hummingbird Attack”: Very noice sound effects. If there was supposed to be an actual video, I wasn’t able to see it :// I did love the sound of it. “Uhhh idk”: This one was so chaotic, and I love it. I love myself a cowboy Avatar facing off the off-brand Black Widow, who is also the Avatar. Again, it looks like it’s stop motion and I have much respect for peoples like you. “To Much Power For One Mortal” should be “too,” but I’ll let it slide: Hecc ye. Lightsaber is always a win. Great visual effects, and I swear to you, I have that same exact lightsaber toy floating around my place >.> It’s green, for some strange reason, but yeee. “Astral”: I. Frickn. Love. Art. Timelapses. Maybe it’s a guilty pleasure of mine, but gosh dang it, the art is so good and I love it so much. I love the shading and overall art style you have! I won’t let personal bias of my love for art timelapses get the best of me oh, don’t worry. I will “Backyardigans being iconic for about five minutes”: Backyardigans is my flippn’ childhood. So glad it’s getting the attention it deserves, even if it’s to be a meme. Editing a video like that must’ve been hard; I’ve dabbled with it in the past and it can be a frustrating experience lol.

Waking up from a four-ish hour nap is rough.

Ji gave a small, empty chuckle. “Trust me, you can’t recover what’s been lost to me for a while now.”

“I have nothing to bribe you with that you want, not to mention that you’ve probably seen what I can do,” he said, not turning to look at the new speaker. “Besides, I’ve already made a mess enough as is.” He then pointed at Elya. “I dunno about her, though.”
