So after stormlight 4, which would you want more? Stormlight 5, Mistborn 7 or warbreaker 2?

Since I read Warbreaker way back, I've always wanted a sequel (Nalthis is probably my favourite world) so I'd say Warbreaker 2

  6. So, the first thing that happened was Chasmgoat used the Spanreed to get his Law accepted before the anti-secrecy law was passed. The law states, "At any time, a highprince may reward anyone working beneath them with any number of spheres. To do this though, a highprince must have a number of spheres removed from himself." Then, I joined house Sadeas from Aladar. The law of affiliation does not prohibit this action. Then, he used his law to give me 1000 spheres. The Game has ended.
  7. My loophole has not been disproven! I have already won the game!
  8. Wouldn't you say that loopholes are a part of the game? This is a game of laws, is it not? I mean, if the point isn't to use loopholes and outsmart your opponents, then what is?
  9. I was not Highprince Aladar, I had changed and there was no law stopping me from doing so. It's like saying I can't cross the street until the law specifically says I can. As for this, in the first post it says: "The Game will end in three months on Janurary 28th at 5:00 PM if no players have reached 1,000 spheres. If this happens, the player with the most spheres will win."
  10. What chasm is trying to say is that when I won the game, the anti-secrecy law had not been passed, meaning that it wouldn't matter what it says now. So we can argue this back and forth and it does matter because the rule did not apply. The problem is the rules are not defined well enough and we have no one who is supposed to interpret them.
  11. I am not seeing that anywhere, can you put the number?
  12. I'll get around to it eventually. Probably soon, I got nothing better to do.
  13. Hello there! I am HoidWasTaken, here to explain compounding to those among you who may not understand it. If a friend is having trouble wrapping their head around it, you can send them here. In this little guide, I am assuming you know the basics of allomancy and feruchemy, but I will reiterate a couple things about each that are important to the subject. Feruchemy is one of the metallic arts, and is the neutral art meaning it is of both Preservation and Ruin. It is also the neutral art because it has a net-neutral outcome, which I will explain. Whatever you put into a feruchemical metalmind is exactly what you get out of it. The power is not coming from any mythical source, it is all coming directly from your own body. If I were to be at 1/2 my normal weight for one hour, I could be at 1.5x my weight for one hour. Allomancy is another of the metallic arts, and it is the end-positive art, being solely of preservation. In allomancy, all the power you are being granted does not come from yourself, but from the shard preservation. That is why it is end-positive is because it is expending that energy over your own. If you burn pewter, the strength you gain does not come from your own body, but from an outside source. Now that we have that down, I am going to explain compounding. Compounding is the act of using the power of Allomancy to fuel your Feruchemy, to put it simply. So, one important thing about Feruchemy before I move on is that without doing some very specific things which I won't cover in this guide, no one but else can use a metalmind that someone sets up. If I store even 1 second of being at half my weight into an iron metalmind, no one else can use that metalmind, because it is locked to my identity. So, lets assume that I am a full feruchemist and a full allomancer. I have an iron metalmind that I have stored 0.5 my weight into for 3 hours. Now, because I have stored an attribute in this metalmind, it means that it is now identifying as a feruchemical storage for weight. Now, if I were to swallow and burn that bit of iron, it doesn't work like allomantic iron because, like I said, it now identifies as a feruchemical storage for weight. This means that instead of using the power of allomancy to give me the power of iron, it uses the power of allomancy to amplify the weight I stored in there. Before, you only got as much as you put in for feruchemy. Now, the attribute I stored is being multiplied by the power of allomancy. So instead of having 1.5x my weight for 3 hours, I may have that for 30 hours now. Does that make sense? I sure hope so. Now, I can take a different piece of iron and store all the weight I just created. Now I have an iron metalmind with 0.5 my weight stored in it for 30 hours. If I were to swallow that metalmind and burn it, then I could get 300 hours of 1.5x my weight. The process can go on forever. I hope this illustrates why being a full feruchemist and a full allomancer is so powerful that the Lord Ruler had breeding programs for the Terrismen to make sure it never happened.
  14. Speed and Connection? Lets see, uses in everyday life and combat. Well, lets start with Speed We know that with enough speed, you can move much faster than the human mind can actually process without dying (We know this because of the Sazed/Marsh Fight), or at least close enough. Point is, you can go fast which would be helpful in a fight. Doesn't matter how skilled your opponent is when they already have a knife 5 inches into their back. If you sit around long enough, you can make it to the store and back without wasting gas in good time. You can type even faster than 70 wpm (at least for me). Um... Any other ideas? As for Duralumin/Connection... No obvious uses in combat. Very similar to copper in that regard, it is a very mental ability. As for out of combat... We know from Dalinar and Mistborn book 6 that if you were to travel to a place and tap connection, you could speak the language there. Want to try and ruin your friendships (Which, if you have those, why are you here?) You can do it through duralumin maybe sorta kinda. Alternatively, if you want to go make some friends, Duralumin can help you make those connections faster. I think my perspective has changed. If I could have 1 feruchemical ability, it would be either Tin/Senses, Copper/Memories or Zinc/Mental Speed.
  15. @Illwei - 36% (Sorry I forgot your zelda game and magic system) @Shard of Thought - 58% (The Ocean is a great place to hide it thou) @Enter a username - 53% (Nope, Not Hoid. And yes, book chapter pre-release thing) @Hentient - 47% (Nope, Not Arnold speitmeyer. But Clerics are great) @2EmLee2 - 47% (If you hide it in Harry Potter's Room, Harry potter will be blamed. Also, it is not Ptoughneighx7Q) @revelryintheart - 84%? (Hmm... Might have to deduct points because of that beta squad business. Also, not obama) @PrincessPeach - 65% (I'll have to read the extended girl who looked up)
  16. Here is my quiz: https://forms.gle/wPdm7dutQLj4vcrP9
  17. Oh most definitely not. You don't see Sazed holding the gate with the power of knowledge.
  18. I'll try my best to make an argument. So, have you seen a brandon sanderson meme and immediately thought, I don't want to remember that, but you can't get it out of your head? F- Copper. Having trouble remembering what you needed to do? Just store it in copper so you can pull your to do list out whenever you want. Want to ace that test? Just read all the material before hand, then store it so you can pull that stuff out later. Want to be able to see something again? Just store it in F- Copper. Ever have a brandon sanderson meme that you thought of when you were away from the 17th shard and you come back and you can't remember what it was? F- Copper.
  19. I am so hype for HW:AOC! I played the original Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, and Breath of the wild and I was shocked how similar it seemed to BOTW. The Wall jumping, the paragliding. I found that Zelda was my favorite to play in the demo, although I did like Impa as well. Link's kit struck me as kind of stale tbh.
  20. Well, you see, Hoid was taken but HoidWasTaken was not taken so I took HoidWasTaken. The fact of the matter now is that Hoid and HoidWasTaken are Taken but HoidWasTakenWasTaken is not taken. I feel like that is an among us reference, which is eh- not my favorite thing. 7/10 space is still neat.
