After the momentum slowed down, he gingerly released Rose. Then he righted himself and squatted down low to catch his breath "Having fun yet?" he wheezed. "Hmm, which one? you ask. You think I'm just going to tell you everything I know? No, no, that won't do. I plan on enjoying you and that Jahora bloke run around trying to figure out the mystery, got to keep myself entertained somehow."

Then he scooped up Rose and slung her over his shoulder and started walking back to the house. “I feel bad about leaving Kess alone with that cranky old lady." Joline chuckled "Is it safe to be around me? Well aint that something to ponder about." She paused and grinned in the dramatic silence before loosing ber composure and bursting iut in laughter. After calming down she sighed, "I dont really know much about where Selene is. Young people like her move around the place all the time. But when she left, she was meddling around with bad people, they must have brainwashed the poor girl or something because Selene...well changed." Joline sighed “Sometimes I worry about that girl."

A smile creeped onto Drae's face. He released The Survivor and walked back inside with the word 'survivor' echoing through his body like a mother's lullaby. The people in this room would probably become something like a family if Kelsier made good on his promise. He sat on the floor and revelled in the newborn glimmer of happiness the was rebounding around his soul.

"how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not leaving for you to believe me? I care too much to leave you. If you're not keen on picking yourself of the ground, then I'll scoop you up and cart you around slumped over ny shoulder. Ay?" Joline looked up from her knitting at the girl infront of her. "Everything becomes petty once you get old enough. Once a few hard, long years are knocked into you, you'll discover my words to be true. Anyway, what were you hoping to find out about Selene?"

Drae turned his head to the side "I've been wandering out in the roughs with nothing for so long that sometimes, surviving is all I can do. I suppose you can relate to that." He pushed himself up and knelt in the dirt. "I've been wandering around these past few years, trying to forget myself. Maybe I'm not okay, prehaps I could even be traumatised because of my minds misgivings. Part of me is always going to resent you, the Survivor. But you're right, I'm dont feel dying at the moment." then he stood up where he was, leaned in past Kelsier's outsteched hand and embraced the man who stood before him.

"thats what they all say. But they all leave in the end, even the best of them. It'd be easier if you didn't give me false hope to live off. " Drae's heart was pounding in his chest. He took deep breaths to try calm his wild emotions. "I think I need some space." he rocked on his feet then slowly pivoted and stumbled out the door. He walked a few feet then collapsed and lay face down in the dusty ground. Would Kelsier really come through on his promise? His brassy heart wanted his to yield to itself and trust Kell, but his brain knew the consequence of that risk going south, and made him trembled at the thought. He groaned into earth and hoped that no one would come out to 'rescue' him.
