Drae nodded, eyeing Zola skeptically, then turned to follow Eryn.

Silk strode into his vault which contained a chaotic mess of clothing items and trinkets. "Don't mind the mess, no one's been around to clean it up." He picked up a pocket sized coin bag, a good knife and a box containing a rigged set of dice. Then he swapped his jacket out for one with more pockets, carefully transfering the wand he stole earlier so the twins wouldn't notice. He rubbed his nose in thought, looking around at the junk I think that's everything. He walked back out of his vault, pausing at the doorway to pick up a floppy black hat. He smiled as he spun it dramatically around his finger and onto his head then hopped back into the minecart.

I like ginger snaps too! (I like most food hehe). I prefer gingerbread because it's softer.

I like my eggs boiled and slightly runny. I'm not a huge fan of century eggs, unless they're in jook.

TBH I gave up after my third batch failed, then I started making gingerbread (which is kind of a cookie, but not really). I can make good gingerbread. Yeah, usually I bake with Nutlex insread of butter because I have dairy intolerant family members, but I'm determined to make cookies with proper butter and I think it's messing with me a little because butter cooks at a slightly different temperature. I'll give cookies abother shot someday soon XD.

Yep. I loooove cookies, except they always either burn or never set properly when they cool. I buy cookies more often than is healthy.

yum yum. I'm really bad at making cookies, I can never get them to bake properly for some reason. Maybe the cookie god's have a grudge against me.

Drae's heart sank as he realised that the girl was probably right. "No, we're still getting the job. I need a job." He said in denial.

Ooo that sounds delicious. I think I'm going to make ownies today if I have all the ingredients in the pantry, my cousin gave me a good recipe that I've been itching to try out. Except I'm too lazy to bake so I may never get around to it.

Drae grabbed a piece of bread out of his pocket and stabbed it onto the girl's fork. "I don't think that getting bonked on the head counts as missing it all" he stated.

"Yeah, I've heard of them. Although they haven't really been up to anything interesting in recent years. Either they're planning something big or slowly falling apart, it's hard to tell with all the scheming those Houses get up to." Jahora rubbed his chin in thought, he had only started digging himself deep into his informant business a couple years ago, so there was little chance he would be able to recall any information about who exactly Kieran's parents were. "So I'm presuming you ran away from home with enough money to not become a complete wreck and.....what have you been up to since then?"

Drae whistled a quiet lullaby as he started soothing; not enough to be completely obvious, but enough to slow everyone down a little. Then he cracked his knuckles and got ready to start punching.

"That's a shame. Do you remember much about where you came from? Kids born on the streets don't usually turn out as well as you have." Jahora relaxed in his chair as the conversation moved away from Selene. I'd be good to know these folks before he went on a bounty hunt with them.

Drae jumped up onto a nearby table and smiled towards the door he had just entered through. In a pickle again, you rusting dope.

I'd say I've been snapped a few times; few bones, few ligaments, a tendon. I've also snapped many things, such as a wooden spoon (when someone hit me with it). Does red meat count as iron? Like Vin's luck at the beginning of FE. Except I have an iron deficiency soo I don't think I have enough to fuel any luck at the moment. Welp. -
I have no idea what Gears is quoting. I quoted a random song I sang in choir a few years ago and a random line from the Wheel of Time.

Eryn's words echoed through Drae's head crew, loyal, do not betray, do not harm. If only my old crew didn't harm, I'd be able to afford some rusting paper if they hadn't betrayed me. He rubbed the scar on the underside of his wrist where his ink had been. crew, loyal, do not betray, do not harm. "Yeah, that would be nice." he rasped to himself.
