  1. It's beautiful!
  2. I'm speechless, it's beautiful! You are talented!
  3. Oh, well. I can laugh at myself if I'm wrong, because some of these are pretty out there. Something bad happened to the Truthwatchers in the past ("I worry about my fellow Truthwatchers" and stuff), maybe related to however Glys ended up corrupted Navani is going to find the Sibling, or figure out what happened to them Adolin will somehow fix Maya and maybe gain some Radiant-esque powers, but not be a conventional Radiant because Mayalaran would be the broken one in the union as opposed to it being a spren bonding with a broken human. Maya will be important towards figuring out exactly what happened during the Recreance Glys/Renarin will be important towards everything being solved, in some way or the other Venli's Radiant-ness will be very awkward for people to accept, but not rejected, because if they didn't turn down Szeth they'd probably not turn down anyone genuinely interested in being anti-Odium Aug/30/2020: If Cultivation was related to Sja-anat and Glys' corruption, then perhaps Glys was bait for Cultivation to do something to Sja-anat (I have so much to say about this I'll probably just make a post later to not write a wall here).
  4. I think you may be right about Glys' brokenness being an important factor to how Renarin's Illumination functions, even if characters (for example: Ivory) seem to think that Renarin's visions are explainable as "of Odium" (which they still could be, but Glys is still an important factor). Taking into account this WoB, we know however Glys was corrupted would have been a "slightly different" process, and the epigraphs did seem to imply that Sja-anat normally could only corrupt "lesser spren". I actually wonder if Glys being in some way damaged/broken is related to whatever allowed him to be corrupted in the first place, possibly leaving him vulnerable to Sja-anat in ways that normally only "lesser spren" would be.
  5. Sure, do as you wish. And hm, hadn't realized there were more Mistborn books since I read the others so long ago. Thank you, I'll go check them out as soon as I can.
  6. Between the mention of Oathbringer (the Shardblade) seemingly not hating Dalinar much, and everything that happened with Maya in OB, I honestly hope Adolin won't just get killed off, since Adolin's arc seems to be building up towards exploring the deadeyes, especially Maya. Even if Oathbringer seemingly having some degree of thought doesn't get brought up again, with how much Maya got brought up in Shadesmar and the Thaylen battle, it'd be so sad if the possibility of (at least partially) reviving dead spren would just be left unexplored, when Adolin seems to be shaping up as exactly the character who would be crucial to that. That said... RoW so far does seem to be shaping up to something eerie. A fast-paced start could very well lead to something catastrophic happening to slow down the pace for a while. And from what we've seen so far, I'd dare say it's already shaping up to be pretty dark, even in comparison to previous books. It is, honestly, a bit terrifying.
  7. A long while ago, my mother and I traveled to one of the few physical bookstores still left around here. I bought a couple books, including Steelheart. That was the first Sanderson book I read. Yes, I have taken the quiz. I got Truthwatcher, which I am exceedingly happy about. I don't remember which one followed since I didn't think of saving the results at the time. Thank you! Surgebinding? And probably yes, purely because the idea of people going around with their Surges is ridiculously amusing. I imagine the rivalry between Orders arguing online about which one is the best on some sort of frat-house-rivalry style, but still being chill at the end of the day, especially when they'd have to work to fix a problem. Is that weird? I find the mental image to be very amusing. The Reshi Isles! The concept of a mainland and endless land in each direction is kind of freaky to me so I like islands, in general. The Reshi Isles also give me a bit of a tropical vibe and I'm all for that.
  8. The impression I got is that whatever Renarin's light did to make the thunderclast go may be similar to what he did to Moash. In OB, Glys basically said "It will fear you", in relation to making the thunderclast go with the light. Again, we don't know exactly what that light did, but it was a beacon of light. Now, when he shows up after Kaladin, there's a burst of light, a presumably better version of Moash is seen, while the real Moash first shies away from the light, fights the empty air, and then rushes back up the tunnel. Maybe it shows the target something they don't want to face? I don't know what could possibly scare a thunderclast, but Glys explicitly commented on fear there on the thunderclast scene. And Moash seemed pretty shaken now. Possibly afraid of that brief thing he saw. Would be pretty interesting if, one way or the other, that light made people face things (say, truths) they wouldn't want to face.
  9. Thanks! And, hm. Probably any of the Reckoners books? Mostly Calamity. As for my favorite character, probably Renarin Kholin, followed by Siri and Susebron.
  10. Hi! I have no idea how introductions work but I'll figure it out! Well, I'd known for a while that the Stormlight Archive existed, but didn't get around to reading it til a few weeks ago, since hearing there was some spectrum representation got me interested and now I guess it's got me hooked! I read Mistborn and Warbreaker a long, long time ago so I may have forgotten a lot about the Cosmere but these days I just randomly re-read parts of Oathbringer! I kept ending up here, reading theories and some posts I just liked to re-read, so might as well stop lurking now! So hi, all!
