  1. The moss on the door bursts aflame and crumples to the ground, revealing the massive airlock-like door with a control panel to the side.
  2. "Ha. It's ridiculous to think we're excited to meet someone from earth when just two days ago we thought EVERYONE was from earth." I frown. "Say, how did these other civilizations hide from us anyway? We have massive telescopes and radio receivers and stuff- was some shard isolating us?"
  3. I marvel at the old-timey car for a moment before getting in and marveling some more. Luckily, I don't get motion sick very easily, especially without something to read, so I'm mostly fine during the ride, mostly just looking out the window and taking Elendel in.
  4. "That's why I'm sending the genie, you know, the almost all-powerful ethereal being?" "Sorry. Please."
  5. @Channelknight Fadran Grace jerks awake. "Ah! What's that?" She asks groggily. Uh... Genie, can you check that out for us?
  6. The moss making up it's body at first yellows before bursting into flames, quickly enveloping it and it disintegrates into ash. Fortunately, your arms are just in a barely tight enough circle to catch the ball before it hits the ground again and reforms.
  7. "Oh, yes, I'm ready to go." When she'd passed out, I had just let the more knowledgeable people deal with it- my only medical experience was first-aid from Boy Scouts.
  8. I choke a little on my food. Oh. That was what Hoblim meant. Well that was lucky. Or perhaps very, very unlucky
  9. What does that mean? I wonder at Hoblim's drawing of... One of the allomantic metal symbols. I still hadn't quite told them that I hadn't memorized the steel alphabet's meanings like they apparently had. I mean, I could read it because of magic-y stuff, but it came across as just a single 'f'. I am quickly distracted by our food arriving, however. Ah, food. At least I wouldn't lose you like I lost technology. And modern music. And workers' rights. I chow down, mostly ignoring the dietary conversation happening across from me. I was an atheist, so I had no quarrels eating whatever they gave me. (Though, to be fair, being christian and LDS wouldn't exactly change that, other than coffee and alcohol, neither of which are exactly appealing to me in any way.)
  10. @The Unknown Order
  11. "Excellent. We can head over to the Oathgate later and look for the Lightweavers."
  12. "Your welcome. Would you like to come with us? I'm currently preventing an execution."
  13. "Oh, sure. Here." He tosses her a pouch full of charged spheres.
  14. "It depends, I think. They're very hands-on in their training, at least from the little I've heard."
  15. "I'm not sure where they are at the moment. They might be at Urithiru, like I said, but it's equally possible that they're sulking around some city, hah."
  16. "From what I've heard, they allow quite a lot of autonomy. I wouldn't know personally, of course- I'm an Edgedancer."
  17. "Ah. Why did you not go to the Lightweavers to be trained, hmm?"
  18. Oh good, they're right here. I wave back, yawn. "Hello!" I reply, as I sit down. "Who are they?" I say, gesturing towards Trésor.
  19. His eyebrows raise. "Oh. I see. That makes your illusion all the more impressive. Tell me, what ideal are you on?"
  20. Kyt politely pretends to not hear Cess's whispering before Sequence speaks up. "Ah, no need to apologize. Sneaking around is what Lightweavers do, yes? Indeed, that illusion is quite good. May I ask, however, why aren't you with the other Lightweavers back in Urithiru? Have they come to the city? Or are you on a mission, of sorts?"
  21. I groggily sit up, having just woken up. I blink a couple times, grab my glasses from the nightstand. Hmmm, I think, these will need replacing, eventually. I would prefer to not lose my depth perception, especially here. Dang exotropia. I look around and see that Hoblim is nowhere to be seen. Did they leave without me? Surely there's a note or something if they did... I look around, but no such note is found. Dread begins to build in my stomach- surely they're just down in the tavern, right? I get out of bed, having slept in my new clothes, and walk downstairs.
  22. "That's exactly what we were here for. What I am wondering is why you felt the need to sneak around when you could of easily just gotten in by the way of your Radiance."
  23. @Ella1234 Kyt pauses for a moment, before saying, "Hello, little lightweaver. Tell me, what are you doing blending into the wall?"
  24. The green menace shatters into a hundred rock-hard pieces of frozen lichen, and the silver sphere falls to the ground... right back onto the moss, where the moss grows back over and up back into it's original figure, backing up and way from Woden, looking around the room.
  25. The thing grabs his gun an tosses it to the side and begins to squeeze down on your throat. The thing turns it's head as a trail of moss is burnt off and regrows. It turns it's head towards you and lets go of Tomrin, standing before it flattens into the moss carpet... and reappears right behind Woden, not giving any time for Mallory to grab the sphere.
