  1. Agarath was, in it's purest definition, in the thick of it. Around him, the world burned, people died, and hordes of horrid monsters are cut down as they swarm to the front lines. Agarath ignored this all- he had his focus on one thing: the General. His many rotating arms held fire, lightning, and ice which he regularly threw, with his insectoid head cackling all the while. Agarath swung his great mace, practically vaporizing anything that stood in his way as he carved a path towards his target. Any attacks leveled at him bounced off, leaving nothing but a small scratch each time. Finally, he reached the monstrosity before him, and as he raised his mace and began his battle cry, everything disappeared. He stopped, and as his veins still ran with adrenaline, he swung around, angered at whatever trickery his enemy had thrown towards him. But yet... there was no enemy here. The battle was gone, the burning was gone, and the death was gone. Where was he?
  2. "Actually, I think it's fair to ask who YOU are," Spade says. "You were the one who sent that spy, yes?
  3. Woah. I start to fill iron and the sensation gives me vertigo for a moment before settling into a general feeling of uneasiness, which subsides after a couple of minutes. The feeling of weightlessness was actually quite enjoyable once you got used to it- like jumping on a trampoline or using a swing. After a couple more minutes, however, the novelty begins to wear off and my mind begins to wander to other topics. "Hey, uh, Kelsier, is there anything else I need to learn with brass other than... uh... excuse me, hand-to-hand combat?" I probably shouldn't of brought that up. I am not a athletic person and I internally shudder at the memory of a Taekwondo class my mother signed me up for a couple years ago.
  4. She chuckles. "You almost sound like you want to be obscure."
  5. @Channelknight Fadran
  6. I sigh. "I was hoping my mother and you wouldn't share any traits in common..." I grab the medallion and hop on the boat.
  7. "We'll just get gunned down if we step out the front entrance. I'll be fine as I am an immortal lich and they couldn't possibly know of my phylactery, but all of you will be full of holes."
  8. "She's getting us out of here, sine you've been no help."
  9. "Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Faith here. I would prefer to know."
  10. "Please, I've never met someone who has said that and actually ended up unimportant."
  11. "You would be surprised..." I mutter. Wait, he could probably hear it anyway, with tin. Ah, no matter, it's not like I'm lying. I then raise my voice up to a normally audible level. "Uh... Kelsier, could I ask why we're staying on Scadrial at all? I mean, I would like to go home. Would be a lot less stressful, and I mean we can't exactly mess with the plot over there."
  12. Gak! When did he show up? Was he supposed to pack and somehow missed?! "Uh... berightbacksorry!" I spin around and dash back to my room, grabbing the suitcase that had been lying forlorn the the back corner of my room, and began shoving clothes in. Once they had been throughout stuffed in, I look around and... realize that's all I own at the moment. Some clothes. I sigh, put some shoes on, and walk back downstairs with my suitcase in hand. "Sorry, I needed to get one or two more things."
  13. I stand up and start to pace around. Man, the last two days had been boring, despite literally being on a different planet He struggled to keep either of Liliana's books for himself for a couple hours before Liliana herself took them back. I mean, the house was cool, but after two days of wandering around inside it had lost a little of it's novelty. Arbitrarily, I decide to go downstairs.
  14. "Ah, that'll be all, thank you." Kyt turns around and says to the group, "Don't worry, I know where the Windrunner signups and the Edgedancer training are, they're far less slippery than the Lightweavers, as would be expected. Now, come! The bottom of the tower isn't the shortest walk."
  15. "Well, no, but I just need to know where the Lightweavers are for this young lady right here," he says, gesturing to Cess. "If it's not a secret of course.
  16. "What...?" That was cut oddly short. Strange. Guess he could go home then, and hopefully forget about this... And if they come back, ah well, he'll get some extra money. He begins to walk the other day.
  17. "Fine. Just do it on the opposite side of the mountain, so perhaps it takes a moment for then to realize what's happening."
  18. "I am Salkara Haor, glad to be your acquaintance. And who may you be, should I ask?"
  19. "Very well." He heads off yet again, and just as he said, the archives were just past a short corridor. Inside, there was a large clump of tables in the middle with spanreeds on each one and a corresponding scribe. "Greetings!" He says. "I would like to find some Radiants."
  20. "I doubt it's because of size, girl. She probably has like sawblades or something that you have to go fast enough or you get shredded. Or who knows, perhaps it's a magic thing that only lets cheetahs through. Either way, we need to get out of here. Think, cat, is there any other possible way we can escape?"
  21. "Surely there must be something more specific." She pauses, and winces. "Excuse me, Friend Hyn. I shouldn't be prying, especially here in public."
  22. "Oh? I was just heading over to the archives to do some research, but now I'm curious. What are you investigating in this part of the city?
  23. "Oh. Oh no." He swivels to Concerto. "You have a secret exit, right? PLEASE tell us we have a secret exit, or we're all doomed." @Condensation
