"Uh... it seems like our wishes are staying stable. I mean, the puppy hasn't turned back into a hellhound."
-
"Well, we seem to be in a similar conundrum. Would you like to make an alliance?"
-
I stand. "You know, I kinda expected to see the Coliseum or perhaps Big Ben before seeing Kredik Shaw. Actually, I expected to leave the US before I left the planet, so it seems minor now that I think about it."

Jaxothe hurridely follows after, along with about 2 dozen zombies.

"I... see. Tell me, did you just appear here while in the middle of something?"
-
"Ah, don't worry. You'll get to travel all of Roshar, and you'll return to Kholinar often."

"Does anyone live here? And who, if they do?"

"New Luthadel? I don't think old Luthadel was..." Oh, perhaps not the best thing to say. "Did you do this?"

He's silent for a moment, an odd look on his face. "Tell me," he says. "Have you heard of the Coalition of Stars?"
-
"Look, child, what are you worried about? Radianthood is a lot safer these days, and even if it wasn't they wouldn't let any harm come to you."
-
"Well? Are you almost done? We don't have much time here!"
-
He jumps back, mace in front of him, before relaxing again. "Please, do NOT do that. Do you know where we are?"
-
"Good! The Lightweavers are sly, but they're sly in a nice way."

"I am Agarath, member of the Order of the Forceful Hand. Are you a demon, devil, abomination or other entity that wishes me harm?" It was standard procedure, as many Enemies had the strange tendency to be completely honest when asked a direct question.

Above, you, through the earth, you hear some faint yelling. Unsurprisingly, it's not intelligible , but you can tell someone is very angry at someone else. VERY angry. You also begin to feel shaking, dirt falling from the ceiling and a low rumble rolling through the stuffy air.

"Anyway," she says, turning back to Hyn. "Would you like some help in your mission? I don't have any other obligations for today."

Spade rolls his eyes at the lofty titles. It was one of THESE narrators- stuffed to the brim with ego but little in the way of subtlety. This was getting out of hand. "And who might you two be? Actually, that's less important than asking why you're here and who sent you."
-
Agarath leaps backwards. Two more figures appeared and one had used some form of superspeed. That wasn't a good sign of their innocence. Unless... no. That wouldn't be possible. "HALT!" he yells for the third time. "ONCE AGAIN, I REQUEST YOUR IDENTITIES." He pulls out his mace, though it would do him little good against someone with such speed.

I look wide-eyed at the city. Even back on earth I hadn't seen a city from above, especially from a dirigible and especially not a one that look straight from the 13th century, and DEFINITELY not right next to an active volcano. What's it called, I wonder? And why build it here on this small volcanic island?

The walk was uneventful, and as they got to the narrower and winding tunnels below the tower. "Well, we're almost there. You excited?" @Random Bystander

"Uh... it appears as if our genie has disappeared." That wasn't good... Now they couldn't solve any problem with a sentence. It had only been a day but she had gotten used to a friend with infinite power, and if they bailed now...

Once he gets within earshot, he yells again: "Please, put the weapon down and identify yourself!"
-
Oh, the girl probably couldn't hear him from this distance. Should he approach? Again, he couldn't know if this girl was an illusion or some sort of shapeshifter meant to lure him into a false sense of security... but they could be a native and could help tell him where in the world he was. He begins to walk towards her.

Agarath had unfortunately left his pack full of supplies back at camp, including food, first aid, a compass and other utilities. Luckily, however, binoculars are handy on a battlefield and he had kept a pair on him, which he pulls out and begins to scan the horizon with. Immediately, however, he saw a figure running towards him. It appeared to be a girl, though any further features were impossible to see. He lowered.his binoculars- she seemed harmless, but it was better to be safe especially in unknown territory. "STOP!" He bellowed. "Please identify yourself before coming any closer!"

The night air was cold on his skin, a look of alarm on his face. He was supposed to be protected from teleportation! Had his enemy found a way to bypass it? He couldn't see how- he had already killed three of those Generals before, and they used the same techniques. Perhaps there was a more powerful magic user nearby who had cast him to this empty plain? But how could such a user hide from their many detectors? No, this didn't seem to be the work of the enemy. But who else could it be?" It was no matter now, however. He just needed to return to his order and the War now. First order of business, then, is to see if civilization was nearby.
