Suddenly, Salkara's staff whips around Hyn's neck and careens directly into the shady guy's forehead with a distinct WHAP. It had risen off of Salkara's pack and began attacking just as it had been Written to.

His frown deepens. "What's impossible, girl?"

"Wow, you found us quick, I mean it's only been a day. Why have you been looking for her?"

Salkara continued to hurriedly write. Salkara's staff unhooked itself from her pack and rose into the air, and began following Salkara's command to attack her adversaries, who were engaging with her nearby allies right now. The grammar was... questionable, but it didn't really matter at the moment.

The man begins to throw everything he has at the moss-creature- however, as he specializes in light there isn't much he can do to slow it as he scrambles backwards. After a couple of moments he trips on a rock and a sickening crunch echoes through the empty valley, and everything goes silent.

Once they started to attack, Salkara emits a short "Eek!" before getting into a more central position to her allies and whipping out a notebook and pen, which she starts to rapidly write in.
