@Tani "Thank you." He turns, gestures to Idir, and begins to walk back towards the Lightweavers' chamber.

"Oh, yeah. It's for medical purposes, but I'm sure we could get some for you. If there's not already a horde of other vampires there already, though."
-
"They're a vampire, Candence. "It's a big store. I don't think it's very fortifiable- there's lots of back doors. I guess we could block them with shelves. Or massive amounts of food."

I posted a new RP. Me and Spock put a lot of work into it, so go check it out!

The basic premise for this idea came to me last year and me and @Spock have been working it on it off-and-on since last October. Massive thanks to him for co-creating the setting and plot! The Setting: (If I explained anything poorly, I'll happily clarify) It's a perfect day in Cveiran. The sun shimmers over the ocean, the stubby buildings casting short shadows in the midday light. Thousands of people line the streets, as today is the day the Emperor's Parade arrives at Cveiran. The Emperor himself wouldn't be there, of course- he was far too busy up in the capital, Xahelis. But many important people would be there- nobles, generals, and, most importantly, the Emperor's head diplomat and cousin, Dergoan J'kal, It was truly a fanciful occasion- carts pulled by the emperor's finest horses carried men of great stature throwing golden coins out into the crowd to show the Emperor's wealth, and a Cracker repeatedly turning a chunk of lead into various other substances with a Capacitor behind him to show the Emperor's highly skilled Crackers. Guards line every float and cart, of course. Surely nothing could ruin such a perfect celebration!

"Oh. Well, it's probably not in good shape anymore anyway."
-
"Oh, I see. Anyways, do you have a personal castle somewhere we can weather the apocalypse in?"
-
"I'm sorry, I don't have anything. Anything edible, at least- here, I don't really need this." She throws the bag of cash she won at the beggar's feet. "Don't spend it too fast, alright?"

Oh great. "Whatever. Do you recognize any of these names?" He holds up the paper.

A couple minutes later the group was walking down a narrow dirt path, the inn and bar receding behind them as the grass around them gave way to trees.

"No, that won't be necessary. Just let me go back to what I was doing, please."
-
"They're stores where you get things from other people using pieces of paper."
-
"Know what, fine come in. Just know that there's a phoenix that would probably roast you if you tried anything, okay?"
-
"Uh..." She looks behind him at the currently ongoing fight behind them. "Look, as long as you promise not to hurt us, you can come inside. Is there some sort of unbreakable oath thing you can do to guarantee you won't hurt us?"
-
"Nice to meet you. Are you an human or some other human looking thing?"
-
"Uh... while that is happening, who are you?"

Spade walks up to someone with their backs turned to them and taps them on the shoulder. "Excuse me, could I ask you a quick question?"

"How strange. Hmmm... To be honest, I'm no schemer. You should probably go to the Lightweavers for advice, they know more about plots than I."
-
"How on earth did he escape without anyone noticing then? Were the guards slacking off?"
-
"Ah. So I suppose we'll just have to pick someone random out of the crowd."
-
"Did he kill the guards then?"
-
"A stone... Tree? Do you mean like a skyscraper?"
-
"Hmm, good. Anyway, I thought maybe the execution was some sort of sign to start. Did he escape when you tried to execute him or sometime else?"
