Who would win a fight to the death Hoid or Vin
Terrisman replied to saze's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Hoid cannot hurt Vin but cannot be killed by her as well. But Vin can die so the only possibility is that she somehow does something which would end up killings herself -
I notice no one answered your question about Kaladin yet. In my mind you have to separate both cases where he gave them away. When he gave it to Moash he gave it to him to go along with the plot to kill the king. Therefore it makes sense that he gave both to him. In addition having one full Shardbearer is better for bridge four than having one person with Plate and one with Blade due to the risk of losing the Blade. The better question is why he gave them both away the first time. You probably do need to say again he was trying to do what was best for his squad and didn’t want to risk losing one of them. He also didn’t exactly plan it out and was just reacting, sort of pushing them away to the nearest friend.

Hey Tony Any relation to the Frosted Flakes Tiger?
-
And do we even know they need to form a humanoid body to wild the surges? Why wouldn’t they be able to use them in some form of pile of hordelings as well
-
So if they (it?) were smart they would hide enough of themselves so that they can’t be killed. Although then it sounds like they’re at risk of those hordelings breaking off and becoming its own Sleepless

He has had a beginning. it’s the destination he’s after

What I think you mean is Journey before Destination

Someone else revived it. I only realized it was from 2019 after I replied. My bad though

Kiss, Marry, Kill (Anyone Edition)

You can’t kill Saze or Kel though so it’s gotta be Vin -
I think you’re understanding the Phoenix wrong. The Phoenix is a magical idea of reincarnation and immortality. If a Phoenix can die than the entire idea of the Phoenix doesn’t work and so it wouldn’t have been able to Be in the first place. The Phoenix is the circle of life so if the circle is broken, it isn’t a circle but rather a line. So no, the Fantastical idea of the Phoenix must be immortal as well. You can come up with creative ways of killing it but in the end it’s the mad murder of the Immortal beast that will end, not the Phoenix. A Phoenix would only truly die if the very nature of life and death died as well.

I got kelsier which is honestly perfect for me so pretty good. If you want my opinion on improvements it seemed like it would be better if you have more scenarios and less obvious answers which lead to specific characters. But I’m nitpicking here because I’m not sure who else I could have been

Rock and Tress are definitely more upbeat but I love the complexity of Shallan and the different personalities too. i guess sometimes i need something a little darker -

Hey thanks Its way too hard to pick just 3 favourites but if you forced me to choose I'd say that Shallan, Rock, and Tress would be my current 3. If you get back to me tomorrow i'll probably have 3 totally different choices. -

Hey there everyone I've been reading all of Brandon's books for about 10 plus years. About 4 years ago I stumbled upon this website but totally forgot about it and never really hung out here much. I just recently thought about it and decided to check it out again and I'm not sure why I wasn't hooked from the beginning. So I'm here to stay now! I'm a huge reader of all genres but my fave is fantasy. And my favorite author is obviously Brandon Sanderson. I started with Mistborn, moved on to the Way of Kings and haven't left yet. (Read everything except Wind and Truth. And War and Peace. and a few other books)

Can you lash something towards a moving target?
Terrisman replied to CognitiveShadow's question in Cosmere Q&A
In regards to your question about who is more dangerous, a steel pusher is limited by their weight and so would need to be increasing weight like Wax if they want to use a gun with a lot more force. a Windrunner can lash things multiple times without an issue of recoil -
Miles blew himself up though so why would burning would be any different

what was on the wall in the ghostbloods basement in WoR? i recognized the sand from White Sand, the golden hair from Warbreaker, and the knife from Shadows of Silence. but what were the rest of them? a pale pink crystal and an odd preserved flower

As a avid reader of everything sanderson, ive picked up quite a few of the hidden secrets and connections between the different books. however ive just gotten on this site for the first time in years and im beginning to understand just how much ive missed. any suggestions about where to start picking up all the background?

LOVED it. Think this is part of why I like Brandon's books so much cause he doesn't mind doing things like this
