    Please don’t forget that her beliefs evolved. Originally, Vorinism only believed in Honor. Jasnah was an atheist by not believing in Honor. By WaT, Wit has confirmed for her the existence of the other Shards so she knows that gods (lower case - beings of immense power) exist and now she is doubting the existence of a Higher power (or God). As far as conforming to societal norms, wearing a safe hand, etc, that would be like saying if someone celebrates Christmas, they can’t be an atheist. She may be doing things that started for religious reasons but eventually just are accepted traditions

    Right. That’s why it’s General Through. Because you say General [insert last name] and Through the Living Glass’s last name is Through (even though it’s first) I don’t want to call you a last name. Can I call you through? Or Living?
