  1. "All's fair in love and war!" Queen responded, as she began utilizing the utensils. And right here, we have both.
  2. "Actually...could I join you? That sounds very interesting, and it could be fun to learn if I could do something like that."
  3. "Oh, you're right. Sorry." Queen's response is very sarcastic. She then proceeds to throw a mushy tomato that she found in the back of a drawer at Fadran's head.
  4. "No. How would I make a real dragon?"
  5. "Well, I made it recently, and my pearls were running low, so it just looks like it's made out of dirt...which it is."
  6. "No." Nicoli paused. "Well, except for the one I made, but I doubt that's what you're talking about."
  7. Queen laughs as she throws another handful of noodles. "It's nice to be able to relax for a while and not have to worry about crazy gods and supervillains."
  8. Nicoli shakes his hand. "Nice to meet you." He then bent down, touching his Pearls to the Diamonds. "Thanks."
  9. The container bursts open, hitting Queen in the face and causing a cloud of the spice, which turned out to be nutmeg, to form around her, choking her slightly. As the cloud cleared, Queen opened a drawer and pulled out some noodles, throwing them at Fadran.
  10. "Nicoli. I live in that small house just a couple hills over. And you are...?"
  11. "I was actually wondering if you had some, uh, Diamonds that I could use to recharge my pearls?"
  12. In response, Queen just stuck out her tongue and made a gagging noise, then took a large bite of her finished sandwich.
  13. Queen hops up and runs up the stairs. When she comes back down, she's holding another flannel in one hand. "Here. I bought you two so I could steal one but you could still wear one!"
  14. "Huh. That's really cool!"
  15. Queen gave Fadran an annoyed glare. "No. I will be making some butternut squash soup. It's a very autumny recipe."
  16. "I didn't know there were other cores. I mean, there was the veela hair that Fleur Delacour had in her wand, so I guess it makes sense that there'd be more..."
  17. "A pinch is enough to completely ruin a recipe. As a matter of fact, an eighth of a pinch is enough to ruin a recipe!" Queen moved over and pulled out a loaf of bread, some roast beef, cheddar cheese, and some condiments. "I'll just make myself a sandwich."
  18. "Of course! It's only fair, since I just finished a rant."
  19. Queen handed Fadran the cup of cider he had just handed to her, then jumped onto a beanbag. She reached out an arm for her cider and gestures for Fadran to sit by her.
  20. Audra soared over the flames of Conleth, bright red and reaching toward her. She was careful to keep her wings far from the red heat, though she trailed her hand through the flames, only pulling it out when it began to blister. She had heard that, just a few hours from where she was, in Mirko, they were recruiting Adventurers to find the missing Artifacts. It was supposed to be dangerous, possibly fatal, and it was near-certain that no one would return unscathed. Audra's lip turned up in a slight smile. She couldn't wait to go. She let out a whoop as she dove down, speeding up to avoid catching flame, bursting out just as the flames would have taken hold. The tips of her wings were slightly charred, but that wasn't anything new. Life just wasn't as fun if she didn't take all the risks. She saw a bright-skinned Aithne native walking quickly through the flames, long hair swaying past her hips. Audra swooped down, yanking on that long hair and pulling it into the flames. Not surprisingly, it didn't catch on fire. Audra had long searched for the fire-proof hair products they used, she was getting tired of her frayed, charred ends. Oh, well. That would have to wait for her return.
