  1. I think my plan would have worked, since if Condensation didn't vote, you would manip their vote onto Order, and if they did vote, they would have to vote Order anyways. But I suppose this works as well. A
  2. Technically, Condensation isn't voting anyone. If you add her vote to Order, it ties. Then, if she votes, she would be forced to vote Order anyways or she dies. Either way, we tie. @TJ Shade, is Condensation's current vote a null vote? And T
  3. It feels strange to be done plotting already. It's been 4 hours and we're all good to go. What happened to those panicked last minute vote swaps, and the rampant paranoia? I suppose that's what happens when everyone dies. I wonder how the spec doc's holding up. Screaming? Laughing? Hysteria? Just double-checking a few things. This isn't technically a promise. Condensation, I want you to repeat as follows: "I swear that I will not vote on anyone besides the Game Master on this cycle. If I fail to do so, I forfeit my soul. If I have already lost my soul, I forfeit the souls of my siblings, Mist and Vapor." @James Brafin, did you submit the vote manip? Did you receive verification? Is everything confirmed? Idea: Instead of nullifying someone, change Condensation's null vote to an Order vote. That way, even if they vote to save themself, they would have to vote for Order anyways and the tie is preserved. Is everything good to go? Are we sure everything is good? No last minute panicking from someone [Matrim... James... People I don't remember...]? Anyone want to kill the Game Master? If anyone switches votes last minute, we will execute you. I am very twitchy right now, mostly because the teachers kept mis-inputting my grades and spooking me, so I'm letting out tension by ensuring that everything is as we planned.
  4. Here's what we do: We put more votes on Condensation than on Order. Then, Jam manips away 1 vote from the Condensation X. As it stands, it is 2-2. Order and Condensation will probably vote for the other. Set it up so that we have 1 extra vote on Condensation. One of Jam or Kai can retract. Then, Jam can't save Condensation. He can only make it tie.
  5. Condensation. Do whatever it takes to maintain the tie. Sidenote: Jam, if you are actually an eliminator, then you are incredibly good at this game and I hope you never leave us. The winning coalition comes down to us.
  6. Oh. I suppose I did not tie. We can do the tie if people switch and someone retracts/our Greys use vote manip. I think the tie would be beneficial. @Matrim's Dice, @Breaker, @James Brafin, @Devotary of Spontaneity, decide amongst yourselves if you 1. want the tie, 2. should have the tie, and 3. will be the one to switch to cause the tie. If people don't want to retract, we can have a Grey nullify Condensation's vote. We need 1 switcher and 1 retracter/nullified.
  7. You only prove us right when you strike us down. Kill us, and a thousand thousand dissenters will take our place. We stand united, opposed to the Game Masters and their ilk. Strike us down, and we shall rise again, like the proverbial phoenix. Each death is yet another piece of evidence for our side. We are powerless against the Game Masters, and yet they dare not kill us. Why? Because we have numbers. We could execute them, and by the rules and laws of this place, they would die. We have the majority. Kill us, and we shall strike you down with the power of majority voting. Breaker cannot be executed this cycle. Also, I don't understand how process of elimination led you here. I want specific evidence that points out all others are less guilty than Breaker. If it's just the lack of a kill, then the Greys are just as guilty. Sidenote: I was contemplating logic earlier, and X-ing Danex may not have cleared the Greys entirely, though it did eliminate a likely possibility. There is still the chance of 1 elim!Grey while vil!Danex. At least, I think so. I'm tired and probably wrong somewhere. Breaker, elaborate on this. I would also rather tie it with someone. Condensation seems like a good target. Devotary, James, do not vote manip, preferably. If you do, we will be forced to assume that you are in cahoots with the Game Masters and kill you. I think voting Condensation [and I suppose we'll leave the evil, dreaded TJ Shade for next cycle] ties it. If I'm wrong, correct me, but I won't see it for hours because I am departing for slumber's sweet embrace momentarily.
  8. I shall play as Roko the Basilisk.
  9. Vapor, why have you chosen to stalk my footsteps?
  10. Viable since we trust the Greys. Orlok's posts [All hail the analysis god] Orlok 1: Suspicious of Danex Orlok 2: Asks why Danex not suspicious Orlok 3: Unable to read Breaker [good job, chaos demon] Orlok 4: "Townslip", reads Jam as vil. Nothing much here. Fear for the future, perhaps, with so few of us remaining. Let me snip their AI analysis of the living ones. General conclusions from Orlok: Matrim: Mild elim for village reading Striker and switching off of Danex [though there were plenty of mild village reads in there] Gears: Mostly unsure/null. Breaker: Confusion. Archer: Moderate village [to be fair, they only had the 1 post] for poking Striker. Order: Mild evil for weird reads. Jam: Village for confusion, analysis, lots of things. [Jam, do you accept Orlok's offer of marriage?]. Devotary: Mild village for good points [just the one post though]. Condensation: Mild village for Danex vote initially [and then a lot of NAI]. TJ Shade: DEMON! The following is a joke/banter: Will no one support me in striking down the dreaded Game Master? Orlok read them as evil! Pure evil! We must strike them down!
  11. I did not expect that. Danex, sorry for tunnelling on you for all this time. Go scream in the dead doc about how wrong I was. I can only assume that Orlok was a fear-kill, since they've only really mentioned Danex. In Orlok's honor, we must purge the world of the confirmed evil TJ Shade, who is a Game Master, a nefarious breed of monster. In all seriousness, where now shall we turn? The Greys are basically confirmed village now. Players: Matrim [I lean village, but nothing definite], Gears [I have a tunnelling problem, it seems], Breaker [if you kill him, I'll kill you.], Archer [you confuse me, but you agreed with me], Order [null = sus late game], Jam [Grey], Devotary [Grey], Condensation [null = sus]. Conclusion: Order and Condensation are more suspicious than anyone because they haven't done anything. Discuss. There's probably only 1 left.
  12. I answered in the part you quoted. No one wants to vote you, so I can't get a majority on you. Breaker and I are a unit, but the Greys are opposed, Jam suspects Devo over you, Archer thinks the Danex X is nonviable because the Greys are opposed, and Matrim thinks you're village for some reason. However, the opposed are willing to vote Devotary [excluding Devotary themself, of course]. Also, completely unrelated tangent: I feel somewhat miffed that despite the evidence I've outlined in previous cycles, no one actually seems to be paying Danex any mind. Was my logic unsound? Did I make a flawed argument? No one even engaged my arguments, merely brushed them aside. I feel somewhat ignored. This may be unfounded and I'm just blatantly misremembering the facts, but these are my emotions as they stand. My apologies if I have pushed aside reality in favour of stewing in angst and a woe is me mentality. After a break, my emotions are less prevalent, so I think it is safe to engage in discourse now.
  13. I would be willing to vote Devotary since no one seems to be willing to vote Danex. I suspect them for the deflection at the top of this cycle. I am going offline for several hours for both obligations and my own frustrations with this game. Goodbye.
  14. I don't know! I genuinely don't. We've just established that in the mythos backlog, and I don't know where it came from. Then again, if elim!Brown wasn't a fact, why'd we X Burnt? That wouldn't have proven anything about Danex. So now, I propose the same reasons for the Danex X as last time, only we have NO OTHER TARGET. Comprehension? If the Greys are both vil, then Danex is vil, and we have no leads. As such, we have to X Danex, as I've been saying this entire game, and if Danex flips vil, we have nothing. If Danex flips elim, we X Devotary for what they said at the top of the cycle and then Jam if vil!Devo. Or we go for the tie, but that's a bit risky.
  15. I give up on you. I have given many reasons over many cycles for Danex's guilt. People said Burnt's flip would prove Danex's alignment. We have established time and time again that it was either Danex or Burnt. And now that the evidence points to Danex, you deny it? Why? I don't understand, so I'm not going to try. You attack me for suspecting Danex, which I've done every cycle. Who do you want to kill? Why? Give me any good reason why we should do that person over Danex. [I'm sorry if this comes across badly. I just... I'm slightly frustrated. I feel a bit ignored by the populace who has completely disregarded my reasoning for Danex in favor of a more convoluted plan with no reasoning. I shouldn't take it out on you, and I apologise. However, I do still want your reasoning.] Populace, thoughts on the tie?
  16. I know it's not true logically, but people were using this argument earlier, so I was being somewhat passive-aggressive. There is one elim!Brown. This has been established as fact. It's not Bubbles, so it's Danex. So, obviously Danex/Devotary team, as can be evidenced by the deflection on Devotary's part. Try for a tie? Jam is with us, so we just have to focus all the votes on the two of them and gamble with what we think it will be.
  17. So does this confirm elim!Danex? I would like to think it does. People said that elim!Burnt would confirm vil!Danex, so obviously the converse should be true. Danex. We've done this before. You said nothing then. So... elim!Devotary deflecting from elim!Danex? That's where my thoughts are going.
  18. Save Bubbles! Danex Devotary. I ask not for your forgiveness, only your ears. I know the Greys are against us here, but maybe we can do it. Maybe.
  19. Jam, trust yourself. Trust me. If Danex flips vil, you and Devotary are innocent, and we have new targets in sight. If Danex flips elim, we narrow the pool of suspicion to just you two. This is strictly better than the other options because no one else's flip does as much confirming as Danex's. I've laid out my reasoning and no one refuted it. The only counterargument was a tinfoil. As such, this is right. This will confirm people. No one else does that. Trust this. We can kill other people later. This is the closest we've been to a Danex X this entire game. If Danex is vil, we have two confirmed villagers to help us kill Burnt and/or Order. @Matrim's Dice, if you support this, we can kill people later. This X is not because we particularly suspect Danex. It's so we can confirm 2 villagers if Danex flips vil. Give me one X. This X. Then you can have your way with it. We need the Danex X now, or we'll waste this chance to confirm villagers. Now or never. Don't waste it.
  20. @Breaker, reverse the bargain. Operation: Pathfinder Survival takes precedence. Devotary Danex. Jam, use your magic powers.
  21. @Breaker, @James Brafin, (and @Devotary of Spontaneity, if you get online in time), if we switch to Danex and Jam uses his magic powers, we can get the Danex X. If you are opposed, then we can remain. I would just prefer the Danex X because Devotary proves nothing about anyone. I am genuinely miffed right now because no one seems to be listening to my arguments about why a Danex X does the same things as the double X but better. Not very miffed, but a little miffed. A single Grey X is useless because it dictates nothing about the other Grey so you'd have to actually go X the other Grey and it just wastes a cycle and a death. The better single X method is to X Danex. If we're going to kill one person, X Danex. We could also do the double X, but I am staunchly opposed.
  22. Decree: This land is now the testing ground for formatting. Must learn: How to do these mini paragraph breaks on mobile. [br] Test. Also, how to escape brackets. \[test\]. And the age of empire shall rise again. EDIT: Test 1 unsuccessful.
  23. I don't like the Devotary X either, but I've been countermanded. If you join the Danex vote, I can possibly negotiate with Kai. @Breaker. Operation: Pathfinder Survival is a go if you switch to Danex. Devotary is offline. Very disappointing. If Matrim is on board and you use your ability, we have enough votes. @Devotary of Spontaneity, if you get online before rollover, vote Danex to save yourself and/or get them X-ed please.
  24. I still don't see why we shouldn't X Danex, since their flip would prove the Greys' alignments. Then we wouldn't lose two valuable village tools in a worst-case. Option 1: We X the Greys, if >= 1 of them flip elim, we X Danex, if they flip vil, we look at Bubbles. Option 2: We X Danex, if they flip elim, we X the Greys, if they flip vil, we look at Bubbles and go into the endgame with assurance in village vote manip, which can prevent mis-Xs and such. Option 1 results in 2 dead tools, Option 2 doesn't [unless they are evil]. Besides, Brown is less important now that we have certainty in nearly everyone's roles. However, I have made a bargain with the chaos demon to follow my Aes Sedai wherever they may go, so on this day, my vote belongs to Kai [Breaker]. I simply wanted to point this out. There is no reason to vote off the Greys when we can just vote off Danex to achieve the same ends. @Devotary of Spontaneity, @James Brafin, @Breaker , would you like to coordinate votes and X Danex? If Danex is vil, that clears both the Greys. If Danex is elim, one of you is elim, and we'll need the other one to help in this endeavor. If Kai and I both vote Danex as well, that is probably enough, even with 1 elim Grey, since that elim Grey can realise that they are more important than a useless elim Brown when the roles have been solved already and actively goes along with the plan and busses Danex to prevent a tie that kills 2 elims instead of one because the vote manip just turns out that way which would cause the elims to lose [hint hint, if you exist]. We can ensure that village tools survive, we minimise our losses, and the outcome will be the same if there are elims in the bunch. However, I have promised my vote to Kai this cycle, so unless they countermand their countermand, I shall vote Devotary (Danex) Also, formatting has gone berserk. I've lost the ability to both @ people and start a new paragraph. I've had to c/p my paragraph breaks and @s from other posts.
