Sadly, alternate universe participants are not available, due to immense commuting costs. -

You have been nominated and thus are a nominee. Consent is not required. You do not have to put any effort into your candidacy if you do not want to. -

Actually, campaigning is Phase 2. You are welcome to campaign now, but in order to accumulate campaigns in one phase, it is preferable that you wait until Phase 1 ends -
What is your opinion of me? Why do you think I am profound? Why Condensation and not Fog or Cloud or Haze or Steam? For that matter, why Vapor and Mist? What is your opinion on superlatives? Do you enjoy flying without the hindrance of mechanical machines? Why did you stop dreaming of the gates? What happened to your pet imp? How many seconds in eternity? Do you remember being reconstructed? What happened to your eyes? Moisture accumulating, forming entities three, chatter, randomness, and SE, and random chatter, three entities forming accumulated moisture

Nominees nominate their own seconds. One cannot nominate themself as a second. A person can nominate any number of people for the Leader of the Hegemony of the World. These nominees cannot refuse to be nominated. Nominees can appoint staff. These staff cannot refuse to be appointed. -

Noted Invalid Correct. Voting has not yet commenced, but once it has, yes. Noted Brandon Sanderson does not currently have a second [and if he did, he could only have one], but you may name secondary advisors if you wish. I am legally incapable of providing that information. -
Selecting the Leader of the Hegemony of the World
Gears replied to Gears's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Yes. No, as the second would only come into play when the nominee is ineligible. A nominee can be disqualified if they violate the 17th Shard Code of Conduct or otherwise violate site policies. They can also withdraw themselves if they find themselves too busy. They can create whatever system they please. Maybe you can create a better system once you get elected. Noted Noted Noted, and the second does not need to give consent. The Leader of the Hegemony of the World has supreme power over the world. This entails whatever the Leader wishes it to entail. The nomination is permitted, but the nominee must choose their own second. -

The Anarchist nodded. "Do your best, Rosie. If you fail, well, at least it makes a nice decoration."

Listen, Archer, you were the one who initiated the Discord conversation. You were the one who brought up hegemony. You were the one who nominated yourself. You were the one who challenged Chaos to a duel. You were the one who wanted this. You only have yourself to blame. -
So Chaos read the PM. No response. However, this interaction gave me the courage to tag him in my new thread, Nominations for the Leader of the Hegemony of the World:

Just an idea for story of mine - mainly magic system
Gears replied to Trutharchivist's topic in Creator's Corner
Sentience is self-awareness. Sapient is relating to humans [typically used to compare an item's intelligence/self-awareness to a standard human's intelligence/self-awareness]. All animals have some level of sentience. Your idea seems fine, though you have to make sure that your animals exemplify the trait they are assigned, not standard animal behavior. For lions, maybe Laziness [they sleep a lot and the females do all the work]. A scavenger could be Survival or Desperation or Analytical-ness or something of that sort [they eat dead things and recognise the utility of the dead things]. Think of human stereotypes for animals, not what animals actually are. -
I just did.

Kiss, Marry, Kill (Sanderson Edition)
Gears replied to DramaQueen's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Why do people insist on apologising for slaughtering their victims? If one is willing to consign them to death, one must be willing to be sincere. No regrets.- 927 replies
