  1. Calano raised his eyebrow at the frog, wondering why it wasn't a Crow or a Croling.
  2. Calano, after randomly vanishing for a day, reappeared, exhausted, in the Unseen Plane.
  3. Emma smiled sweetly at Thaidakar as Calano transitioned from his massive bird form into black lab coat human form. He grimaced when he saw Emma. "It was an offer of power. Simple as that. These two certainly weren't helpful, that's for sure," She said, gesturing to Wizard and Calano with a frown. "Emma." Calano said with a nod, although his tone implied there was more to that than one thought.
  4. The conciousness of Calano floated. And then he coalesced. Wings sprouted from his back, and they were black, speckled with dots of white. His wings were the night sky, of feathers. And he was in the Unseen Plane. Again.
  5. Calano fell away down the cliff, screaming profanities until he was cut off by Change.
  6. Calano shouted, "No!" And dove after Nameless. He collided with him, and they toppled over the cliff. "Give. It. Back!" Calano shouted, while pummeling Nameless.
  7. Calano shouted, and a blast of violent crimson energy erupted around him, shoving Bookwyrm and everyone else back. Bookwyrm fell to the ground, rolling to the edge of the cliff.
  8. "This disk allows me to do exactly anything. Including your narration powers." He flexed his hand, and the disk began rotating faster, siphoning more and more Narration power.
  9. Calano chuckled, waving his hand. The disk floated into the air, and began siphoning the Narration power from everyone present, adding the power to the massive red star, glaring down from on high. "Futile."
  10. A star appeared. A ferocious red one. "Darkness lets you see the light clearly yes. It lets you see the light of your own demise." The ferocious red light grew in size until a massive ball of flames was right above their heads. "This was my plan. The demise of everything."
  11. "This moss grows, it flourishes, in the darkness. It produces it's own light. You're going off topic, referring to the light only."
  12. Calano waved his hand, and luminescent moss grew across the ground, bathing everything in gentle cyan light. "Not necessarily."
  13. "Better a false sense of security than no security." Calano waved his hand, and meteors flashed in the sky. "But you have a point. There is beauty in the light." Calano waved his hand again, and all the lights went out. "But there is a silent beauty in the dark."
  14. Calano looked up at the stars. "Even engineering can't stop natural processes. Those stars are new. Brand new, by the looks of them." He looked at Nameless. "Light is oppresive. You really want something that lets everyone see everything you do?"
  15. Calano shrugged, then rotated his fist again. The stars that were beggining to shine through blinked out of existence as well. "I don't. Darkness is just cool."
  16. Calano didn't respond. Instead, he glanced up at the sun, then at his disk, then at the bronze device on the ground. "Maybe..." He muttered, "But if I reverse the polarity of this part..." He waved his hand, and a small click sounded from the device. He looked up at the sun again. It was still moving slowly. Calano grinned, then turned to Nameless. "Welcome to the new era, Nameless. Darkness." He rotated his fist, and the sun blinked out. The temperature dropped, and the darkness became oppresive.
  17. "Sure." Calano said, bending down and fidgeting with a small bronze device. "Happens all the time. Deja vu, right?"
  18. Calano looked up at the sun, which slowly made it's way across the sky. He grinned, and checked the disk in his hand. "You'll see."
  19. "I guess I do have to thank you for this... power. But still, we can't be friends. Sorry not sorry."
