  1. … huh. I’ll just say that I am not a Jabberwock, and that Fifth has done many things to me over the course of this game
  2. 2 Bandersnatches sounds painful for them. Even if the Madness, the Jabberwock, and their own kill all hit Creatures, that's not enough to actually win, because they need to outnumber. They'd be relying on the Coinshot or similar to fetch them that actual kill. And if one of them goes down, game over. Unless someone else pulls an MR56 I will vote... xinoehp.
  3. You know something interesting? It's entirely possible that no one wins this round. Jabberwock needs X players to die, Creatures need X+1, Bandersnatches need... (14-X)/2 - all within a neat Y = 3 cycles. Not sure who that math favors, but it's not the Creatures. Not on paper, at least, but paper is good. You can make books out of paper. Distros can adjust to that (maybe there's only 2-3 Banders, maybe the Creatures get a bunch of kills to use, maybe someone has a tactical Mayor of a role we'll see soon). ...if everyone gets a bunch of kills to use, please use them responsibly
  4. Yeah I was I had a really wacky role, which essentially let me mimic Stick's ability to block people from joining for Tea. Except either I completely misinterpreted how the role worked which I don't think I did, or Mr Time decided to mess with me, because instead of preventing Sart from joining for Tea a second time it went back in time to C1 and blocked him there. Or something. So... sorry about that Sart. And potentially you Wonko, if that somehow 4D-chessed Sart out of being able to switch sizes. Might be able to make it up to you though This is due to many things, one of which is just a Me Thing and one of which was me maybe accidentally bulldozing several best-laid plans.
  5. You’d know. I think I know what happened here, and it shouldn’t happen again. I have something else I need to do.
  6. ... well I apparently don't know what I'm doing, then, because I don't got time powers. Unless being "Cursed by Time" affects the actions that I've taken, in which case... maybe. No idea.
  7. Unfortunately I can't eat the Cake. Fortunately, it's for the same reason I can't use that Pepper that was sent to me My role ironically could fit two different possibilities, but it is firmly aligned towards one. I've said already, but I have gone.
  8. Am I the only one you don’t know yet? Oooh. This is fun. Perhaps I can leave it as a puzzle. I haven’t left it super hard to figure out. Or, maybe not. Hmmm.
  9. Friends call me Thread Master Whatever I touch Gets me out the vote's clutch I'm too much
  10. I feel like the math on who's on my team and who is not is rather complicated. I'm not a solo player, I'll say that much. And am fairly confident Experience isn't on my team, though idk what team they're on. If you think you're on my team feel free to contact me but the last time I tried using PMs on a non-standard faction game it went very poorly and I have Things That Should Be Done.
  11. I tried to sit down for Tea and did not succeed, don’t know why. Most likely because it was full, but could be another reason.
  12. Anybody know what a Cake or Bottle does? I wonder if they're weaker versions of Quinn's Mushroom. Didn't get to do what I wanted last turn, but I've got a toolkit anyway. So the march continues. Also Experience
  13. I seem to have been cursed by Time without going to the Tea Party, which is interesting. What’re you looking at
  14. That might be an issue, not entirely sure. Eventually I’ll figure it all out probably just in time for the rules to change again. And, Scars… and I think for now I won’t vote more.
  15. I am curious if there’s any duplicate numbers. “Joker” is a stretch, pretty sure that doesn’t show up in Alice. Don’t think a Jack does either (though maybe that’s what a Knave is, idk). But my card has a (minor) effect so I’m curious. Stick, I have a suspicion we’re on the same team
  16. To be honest, I like CCs in a game where actions are important. So Scars. Experience, welcome back! And… hmm. Out of curiosity, is anyone a Queen of not Hearts?
  17. I don't know what I expected but it wasn't that. Well, I thought Cards might be in play, because 14 is so specific and matches 2-10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, Joker. But I thought that would be it
  18. Issal Jackson, despite all odds, was still alive. Broken legs. Collapsed lung. Nine severed wrist tendons. Burns. More burns. Skull fracture, or so the Physickers suspected, they hadn't seemed to have been able to find it. Blood, most of it. Nearly-broken neck. Even more burns and cuts and broken bones. He didn't even know how many ribs had or hadn't broken. Oh, and his heart had apparently stopped for about forty-five seconds in Medica. Issal thought it was more ironic on top of everything. Both Araris and Inesta had gotten what they wanted. But, between Volatile's Sympathy and whatever Physicking had done while he was comatose, he was alive, and with significantly less broken bones. He was still confined to a wheelchair, still only could barely use one of his hands. They weren't sure if he would regain anything in the right hand, not with the medicine here. But he was alive. And thanks to a neat little bit of surgery, the holly line encircling his brain would ensure he'd never be possessed again. He wasn't a Master anymore. Volatile thought he had the potential, or at least him and Essal together, but for the time being the other Masters needed to see what he could do. It was impossible to tell how much skill had been kept within Issal and Essal, both with their split minds and sundered bodies. Issal thought he remembered most of it, but he wasn't even in any shape to teach classes, much less gruel in the lab for no purpose but to prove himself. And, the Masters had made a realization - no one had ever met the original Issal. They had never seen his true self, his true personality. And, Issal thought grimly as he struggled to push his wheelchair with one hand, they probably never will. Severe injury had a tendency to change one's outlook on life. Being trapped in your own mind for years while an ancient psychopath used your body and face to kill and maim, tends to do so more. At least he could make his way to Medica on his own now, and didn't need Essal staring over his shoulder pushing him along. The Artificer he knew may have been another Skindancer, but the human ones had done a neat job on him. A brace on his back to keep his neck stable. Some Sympathetic device to help set his bones, or something. And a neat contraption that attached to his ruined right hand. He could hook it to the wheels, or store some simple things in straps or pouches. But he didn't want to use it right now. It was a little hard to maintain, because someone had decided that the best place to put the department where prosthetics and wheelchairs were made was up stairs. And, he wanted to see how far he could get on his own. Some things you have to do yourself.
