Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The thing is, I remember TJ’s MR where you were quite a silly Elim until it came down to the wire. That didn’t get us to change our mind, either. You have anyone else to go for? I have a few other ideas, but you don’t seem to be offering any. -

Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Honestly? If there’s a Village Knight, who decided that instead of being on the near-100% confirmed Dannex, they wanted to be on Drake who was going to be attacked by Link and was stated as Elim by aforementioned near-100% confirmed Dannex… I want them out of here. Or a very good explanation. And by very good explanation I mean one that’s much better than Drake’s, who’s heavily glossing over the fact that in his explanation he just straight up murdered Dannex or Zelda-TJ. -

Yippee. Drake. This essentially means there’s an Elim Knight. So Sheikah, keep an eye out for those. Village Knights, be careful. -

We’ve lost 5 Villagers to 2 Elims, with a good infospread beyond that (cough Drake). We’re alright, for now. -

You’re on the list of Illwei interacters, and I think you were first (or one of the first) to go for TUO instead of Drake. Which TUO was a good shot, but it’s something I’m considering. -

Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I’m hoping those PMs that exist are being helpful… Well. TUO was village. A decent shot, but wrong all the same. Mobile makes it hard to go back, but I’m guessing we’re back to Drake, Steel, Archer, TJ, in some order. -

Right now, I don’t think any scanners should reveal their intel to anyone, except if Zelda can to someone she confirmed is good. Or on the outside chance that Revali (target scanner) or Urbosa (roleblocker) catches what they know to be the Elim kill, and even then I’d recommend thinking very carefully about it. We’re down a Mipha and a Knight, and Zelda’s purported identity is known to at least some individuals. Outing Link is not an option. Not even to Dannex. Especially not to Dannex. No offense, but I’m a bit gambit-shy. -

I evidently am lacking in brainpower for this. I guess I’m still trying to wrap my head around the Avalon style. (Also forgot to follow the thread…) Hmm. Maybe I’ll just try and stick around and RP and bug people. Idk. I’ll be mobile only for the next week, so while I’ll still be around expect fewer posts and especially fewer massive ones.- 608 replies

Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I’ll go for TUO as well. Araris and Illwei didn’t interact much at all. I find that interesting, but with Stick flipping Village and Mat getting NKd that leaves Archer, Steel, Drake, and Ash for major Illwei connections. Steel and Drake would be the ones I’m most wary of, but we might want to look at people Illwei pointedly didn’t interact with, such as… Tani, I guess. But TUO is definitely tied to Illwei much stronger than adjacency tally says. @The Unknown Order because we seem to be bandwagoning, if for good reason. I’ll be mobile only for the next week, so while I’ll still be around expect fewer posts and especially fewer massive ones. -

*Blinks* Okay, ties. Ties will probably just result in people (Elims and Villagers alike, actually) hammering in an attempt to get themselves elected to the Council. We want to get exed in this game, sort of.- 608 replies

Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Enter Illwei Here's a little guide for this. For now, I'm just marking interactions, whether positive or negative, with Illwei on D1. Confirmed Villagers are Green, Confirmed Elims are Red. Interactions are marked as such: just stating a name is +1, tagging or reading non-null is +2, quoting or voting is +3, whether it's Illwei interacting with a player or the player interacting with Illwei. (This is just using CTRL + F "Illwei", so I might miss some Eiwlil's. In fact, I probably missed a lot, so the math's probably off. Very off. But the approximate totals are in place.) Illwei's hard-to-parse readlists: Final tally of points: (Remind me to recalculate this because it's nowhere near exact whatsoever) So notable things? Illwei said that she was reading those who thought E!Beedle was possible, as Elims. At the time, only Stick was advocating for E!Beedle and Devotary and Steel were iffy about it. Illwei and Mat bounced off each other a LOT, second only to Illwei and Kas. For now, I think that's normal... actually, because of the timing of some things I'd give Mat village points for some posts, but could go either way. Illwei eventually gave Steel an Elim read, the only one of the group, but never voted on them. Illwei also interacted a lot with Archer and Drake and Ashbringer. Archer specifically asked Illwei why they weren't worried about the Kohga kill when she claimed Zelda. Drake read Illwei slightly village, but had no... it didn't seem like there were a lot of actual content in their interactions. Ash read Illwei slightly Elim for the copypasta. So, that gives us Stick, Devotary, Steel, Mat, Archer, Drake, Ash, as potential leads for people Illwei interacted with, positive or negative or otherwise. To narrow it down, which is why I wanted to do that if-Illwei-slipped thing in the first place... only Drake was also not on to see Illwei's outing. Devotary also had very small dealings with Illwei, as she only said (essentially) "Beedle could be Elim" rather than Stick's "we should plan for Beedle maybe being Elim". I'm also not going to vote for me, although I have no objective reason to discount it. So... Stick, Steel, Mat, Archer. There's probably some posts that I still need loaded in the thread, but I'll start with Stick. -

Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
No offense to Illwei, but troll or not I kinda believe she would slip up in that way Especially because she immediately said that it could have just been misdirection. So, I'll see. If there's another lead from her posts, her distances D1... I'll go for that, but this is a way for me to narrow things down. Italics (aka Archer and Devotary) were on for Dannex saying he scanned Illwei, but not on for Dannex outing Illwei as Kohga. So E!Archer or E!Devo could have seen Dannex post, then gotten off the Shard and advised Illwei from the Elim Doc alone. So they're in that group as well, as they are both crafty enough to think of that. This is true, mostly. But if Illwei did slip, there is another benefit: we can rule out some team compositions. Alv, Drake, Randby, Yeet would be an unlikely last 4 for a team. On to Illwei it is. -

I'm trying to split concentration (RP and otherwise) between two games. I'll try and narrow that list down in an hour or so. Don't have anything on the plate today, so that should actually happen. -

Derrick had forgotten how to lead. Or, he'd remembered that he'd never really learned in the first place how to lead. It hadn't gone well the last time he'd tried. But that was a long, long time ago. Derrick was no foreman, no one of grand import at all. He just worked here, making sure the steel went where it was supposed to. He was a Coinshot - that was still in play - but he mainly used it to suppress disasters. Working in a metal plant while being able to move metal with your mind... that was a very useful skill to have. Particularly when it came to suppressing the flow of molten steel annihilating everything in its path... Now steel was one of the last things on his mind. The strike, that had been talked about for so long, the one that he'd aided starting, spreading whispers, evading guards... it was here. They were making a union. Or, at least making a council that had the power to do it. Lord Starrick wouldn't take it lying down, but the idea was they wouldn't let him. This was new for all of them. Well. Derrick gave a wry smile. Not all of them.- 608 replies

Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, MR started at a good time. That's the third time in a row we've gotten a GM of the other game killed C1... During that whole thing, Illwei mentioned that someone in the Elim doc said that she should kill Kas-Beedle. At that time, there were a few people who hadn't been on, and I tried to note those at the time, but here it is again: Archer and Devotary had theoretically been on to see Dannex say he scanned Illwei. The rest hadn't been on at all between Dannex saying anything and Illwei saying someone said something in the dead doc. That means there should be at least one Elim in the opposite group: Matrim, TUO, Ashbringer, Archer, Dannex, Szeth, Steel, TJ, Devotary, Stick, purplewhiteandgold, Tani. I'll go ahead and scratch Dannex off the list. Theoretically this could be a plot... but that doesn't seem like Dannex, as the only payoff is getting Beedle out quick without it seeming like the Elim team is really invested in getting rid of Beedle. So: Matrim, TUO, Ashbringer, Archer, Szeth, Steel, TJ, Devotary, Stick, purplewhiteandgold, Tani. A decent set to hunt for an Elim in, if you so choose. I wouldn't take this as set in stone, though: it's possible some of the more tricksy Elims could just communicate via the doc and specifically stay off the Shard, or it's possible those like Archer and Devotary could immediately get off the Shard seeing Dannex scanned Illwei before actually seeing the result. Or theoretically E!Revali seeing Dannex visit Illwei. Or Illwei actually lying, as Elims (but not usually Illwei) are aught to do. But it's a start. -

Ashbringer replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
An Elim Knight would indeed be problematic. Mipha's the only Healer (and is probably a unique role), but a E!Knight could probably redirect any kill taken against Illwei... although randomly redirecting kills is usually not the Elim's best move, and Illwei'd be exed pretty soon after. -
