Me? I don't have a name yet. But if I did, I'd tell you! Well, I'm kind of Enter.

"The vase that I just saw you drop. But don't worry about it. I never really cared about decorating this place. I'm not even into vases."

Enter looked at the pieces. "Where did that vase even come from?" "To be honest, I don't really know."

"Sure he can. How else would he talk to you?"

"I've done the math, and the chances of a tear in spacetime randomly occurring are less than a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a percent. Not zero, but basically zero. Anyway, We should get my sword." Enter walked to the back of the security room, moved one of the computers aside, and switched two wires. The back wall shook and sunk down, revealing a single sword with a blade of shining steel and a hilt of pure gold. A voice spoke into the minds of everyone present: Hello! You all must be Enter's new friends!

"I didn't. I have a bunch of cesium in storage, and I'm pretty sure that it somehow got teleported onto the shore. I think it was a portal malfunction, but it could have been some sort of tear in spacetime."

That was exactly when they reached the security room. "Well, that's convenient." About five minutes later, Enter knew exactly who attacked, when they attacked, and how they breached his defences. "It turns out nobody actually got inside. After what I can only guess was some kind of portal malfunction, large amounts of cesium were deposited right on the shore. A particularly large wave hit the pile, and cesium has a tendency to violently explode when it touches water. The explosion actually managed to create a crater, which tripped a false alarm."

"Given that someone actually found and got into my base, I'd like to know the details. It should only take a few minutes or so, and would help me enormously. The vault is right next to the security room anyway."

"Because whenever I do something in the clean room, I always spend a few days there. Or... was it a few weeks...? A lot of time. And I made absolutely sure that nothing from the latrines can get into the clean room. Measures such as a three foot thick wall, about fifteen air filters, and an airtight suit that you absolutely have to wear in the clean room."

"He should be in the vault and I have no idea." Enter took a map of his base out from under a microscope and started walking to the security room. If you looked at the map, you'd see that the base itself was also super disorganized.

"This is just the lab room. I've also got a fabrial room, a security room, a vault... I'm glad I decided to build this underground. For some reason, I also feel compelled to say something about an '800th post,' whatever that means."

The floor was made of aluminum. The walls and ceiling were painted, but you could barely see the paint due to the number of notes and blueprints taped to the wall. There was all kinds of lab equipment on desks ranging from microscopes to centrifuges to the screen of a rusting particle accelerator set into the wall. All in all, the place was a total mess.

Enter frowned. Why hadn't the lights turned on? "They should have turned on when the door opened..." The lights blinked on. "Huh."

After about five minutes of a continuous downward staircase, the group reached a metallic wall. Enter ran his finger on it in a very specific pattern, and it sort of melted out of the way. "I officially welcome you all," Enter said, "to my base."

Enter ran down and quickly got to the front.

"Not really... There!" Enter removed his hand from the hole just as a portion of the ground opened up, revealing a downwards-leading staircase.

Enter went to a small hole in the ground, not much wider than the hole his foot fell into, stuck his hand in, and started moving stuff around.

Enter reached the shore of the smaller island.

"I built it. Different people put different values on the same materials, so I can use that to obtain fairly large amounts of most materials."

"Yeah. Single file." Enter started carefully walking on a long since memorized path.

"About a nine. The exact footing doesn't matter, but the path is usually about two feet wide."

After a short walk, the group reached the shore behind the fortress. A few feet away, another smaller island was visible. "The real entrance to my base is on that island. There's a stretch of land that sort of acts like a bridge, but it's pretty narrow, and it's not exactly straight either. I'll lead the way, and you all should try to follow the exact path I take."

Enter's foot suddenly sank about a foot into the ground. "Dang it." He pulled his foot out of the ground. "I have no idea."
