To all my fellow Americans, Happy Thanksgiving! I come after indulging myself in the yearly feast of turkey and gratitude, and thinking. This year has been... different. It's been harder to see what I am grateful for in the midst of... this.

But I also found the Shard. And you guys. And I bet you that if I were to make a list of the things I am grateful for, right here, right now, it would be longer than ever before. Those facts are probably related, but not completely either. This year has been different. But that's not a bad thing. It's been a year of growth for me.

I'll save the rest for my Shardiversery, because I'd be lying if I said I wasn't already thinking about what that status update will hold. But suffice it to say that this holiday season, among all the other things, I am grateful for you guys, who became my friends when I couldn't see my others. And I thank you for that.
