“We can probably make it there okay, I’m a decent swimmer from what I’ve learned so far.”

“This island.” Lloyd said pointing at the marked island on the map.

“Let’s go then!” Lloyd said enthusiastically. He started to walk towards the harbour. “By the way, I’m Lloyd.”

Lloyd waited in the alley for the person from before. He hoped they hadn’t reported him to authorities. It seemed that Lloyd may have been to trusting. “Hello?” He called through the alley.

Lloyd didn’t have a lot of time so he rushed off towards the noble’s home to try to find out which island to go too. This time he didn’t bother with the guards. He vaulted in through an open window and started searching the rooms. It didn’t take long for him to find a room with computers. The alarms were going off on a single island. He grabbed a map lying on a table and marked the island with an X. He had ten minutes to get back so he’d better hurry.

“Can you meet me here in half an hour?”

“A very unique adventure.”

“Nope, just looking for a boat.”

Lloyd walked out of Cruz’s hideout, sticking to alleyways to avoid attention.

Lloyd had found a nice shirt with a bulletproof vest inside the torso section. His pants were just baggy enough to allow easy movement but with a nice little elastic thingy at the ankles to keep him from tripping. The shirt was black on the torso and dark pine green on the sleeves, and there was a convenient hood at the back that shadowed Lloyd’s face but allowed him to see made in the same green. The pants were black with a scarlet line running up the side in an almost flame like pattern. Lloyd had recovered the weapon he had found before and had found a belt that strapped it diagonally across his back but within easy reach for an emergency. All in all he was impressed with Cruz’s wares and planned on thanking him when he caught up. His feet were bear but it didn’t bother him because of his newly discovered aspect the cut on his arm had been healed by it too somehow. His aspect seemed to be a healing aspect that drew power from light, but that was very strange considering that Lloyd’s aspect had been nothing like that.

Lloyd need better equipment if he wanted to find Trace. If old Lloyd had had a scry then it was destroyed now. Lloyd strayed from the others going back to a more populated part of the island. He ventured into a shop and noticed a scry in a glass case at the front. If they left it out there in the open in a place where it could be easily stolen then it must be for free. Lloyd punched through the glass, grabbing the scry and getting a slice down the back of his arm. An alarm started to go off. They had better security than he had thought. It was time to go get a weapon and maybe some armour. Lloyd heard the angry shouts of alarm from behind him as he walked out of the store, and he started to run from a man pursuing him. He made it to Cruz’s former hideout and hid there till the coast was clear. The place seemed a bit battered up from Trace’s attack on him but most of the gear was still in good condition. It was time to get himself that wardrobe change everyone else had gotten.

“Yeah, we should hurry. Trace is probably long gone by now.”

“We could take one from the docks. Our mission is much more important than any fishing trip.”

“Jay, which island was the attack on?” @Negative_Null

Lloyd’s smiles. “Never mind. I don’t need you now. Hey Jay! Can I get a ride to the island?”

Lloyd looked at the guards, unimpressed.“If you don’t let me in I’m going to have to go over your head.” @Negative_Null

“I scared them off so they won’t come back anytime soon.” Wind wagged his tail with a self satisfied grin on his face.

Lloyd was going to find them, Trace and that Cruz guy were going to get into some trouble and he needed to find them before they killed half the population. He would be able to find them fast if he went to whoever ruled this island. They’ll have any news on attacks. Lloyd went straight up to the nobles home. “Hey! I need to speak with whoever’s I charge here!”

“I never wanted to.” Lloyd started to walk off into an alley. “Think bigger!” He yelled over his shoulder.

“I don’t have parents and even if I did, I would think bigger. Why would you settle for an island when there is a whole word?”

“So you did it cause your parents did?”

“What are those?”

“What were they?!”

“I’m loyal to everyone and no one. Why did you join the army?”

“Who are you working for?”
