Mike nodded over to a nearby stone, large enough for them both to sit on. "Maybe we should wait a few more minutes so you can get your strength back?"

"It's o-" Mike stops to catch them again. "Are you sure you're okay, Erin?"

Elsie hears a ruffle in the bushes and immediately sidesteps behind a tree. She watches as a spear flies through the spot she was just standing and thuds to the ground. She peeks around the tree, heart thumping, to see someone standing not far off.

"It's okay. It's not your fault."

"Okay." He didn't say anything else, not sure exactly why he was feeling so uncomfortable.

Mike hesitated, not wanting to be dishonest. "I...I'll try my best." Shades, how can I promise something like that?

Mike remained silent and continued walking.

Elsie slowly makes her way through the forest, away from the others.

Mike smiled, not wanting to argue. "Something like that."

Elsie stuffs the bottle and food packets back into the bag and swings it over her shoulder.

Mike caught Erin as they stumbled. "Well, some of my group has been kidnapped because of me, but hopefully we can find the others."

Elsie quickly searches the ground for a sharp rock that could cut through the tough cloth.

Elsie makes her way into the forest a good way until she knows she is alone. She then quickly check what is inside of the pack she grabbed. @Lotus Blossom

Elsie swings the pack over her shoulder and turns around to make her way away from the other contestants, for now. She is attentive and stays away from others, trying her best not to draw attention.

Mike held back a shiver as the wind picked up for a moment. "Yeah, I'll be fine. You need it more." They began to make their way back to the town.

Elsie ignores the weapons and goes to the nearest pack, knowing the supplies would be vital later on.

Mike immediately took of his coat and offered it to Erin. "Here, take this."

In PMs now if you post twice in a row it merges your new post with your old one. This is cool and all, but I don't think it gives a notification to people about the updated message.
