Elsie retreats into her shelter, still sobbing from the traumatic incident. She began to remember all those days she had spent with Cassian. Days she had thought has been wasted. But he had been alive this entire time. How could he do this to her? How could he not let her know. He had claimed she was everything to him. The tears continue to run down her face.

Mike realized that the others were there as well. He turned even redder, if that was even possible. "Oh, hey."

Mike's skin matched theirs. "Yeah." He smiled. "It was amazing."

Mike didn't reply, only continued to hold Erin.

Mike let out a breath, not realizing he has been holding it. He embraces Erin once more. "Hey, it's okay. You're okay. I've got you."

"Erin? Can you hear me? Can you see me? Where are you?"

Mike fell to the ground, scraping his knees on the way down. He looked up and Erin was nowhere in sight. "Erin? Erin?!"

Mike smiled, holding the kiss as long as he could. He felt Erin's grip tighten, and he was perfectly fine with that. For this brief forever moment, he could forget his past. Erin was all that mattered.

Mike melted into the kiss, not wanting the magical moment to end, and closed his eyes. He wrapped an arm around Erin's back and pulled her closer to himself, letting their bodies touch.

It was one of the most wonderful things Mike had ever experienced. He tried his best to remember the severity of the situation, but didn't stop.

I'm trying to figure out why some of these names are italicized. They seem sketchy at random. Not a bug, just curious

Elsie falls to her knees, sobbing. "Cassie, no..."

Those words cut deeper than a knife. They were meant for her, not this monster that was feeding her beloved lie after lie. "Cassie, don't listen to her. She is lying to you. Don't you remember me?"

"No!!!" Elsie yelled, almost screaming. "Your name is Cassian Bonswear. Eddie is not your mother!" @SmilingPanda19

"Cassie! Don't listen to her! Please!" Tears were now streaming down her face.

Someone rushes into the cameras frame, taking away Cassie's attention. Elsie wiped some tears off her face, then waved her hands to try and get his attention. "Cassie! Please answer me! How are you alive?! Where are you?"

El. Those two letters brought tears streaming down her face. She had placed a brick wall over her emotions, but they completely crumbled upon hearing Cassian's voice. "Cassie-" her voice broke once again. "How are... how are you alive?" She reached up to touch his face but her hand went through the holoprojector.

"Cassian Bonswear! Can you hear me?!" Elsie had to hear his voice. A part of her still whispered doubts about it being him. But if she heard his voice, she would know for certain.

"Erin, look at me." What would help me if I was panicking...oh. Shades. Mike took a breath to steel his nerves. He gently grabbed the back of their head and brought his lips to theirs.
