Most games don't force you to vote, and almost never is there a time when everyone alive votes in a turn. I guess you could call it inactive... but if your posting regularly other then at that time, it would be fine. EDIT: I don't know how soon the next one starts, but I can tag you when the signups start. I could also send you the spectator doc for the game I'm running right now.

Everyone is like that the first couple of times, and everyone takes into account if you're new. Also, the turns take 24-48 hours each, so it's not like you miss a ton because of that.
