Herate shouldered her pack and turned away. "Let's get moving," she said brusquely. -
"All right." Vapor says. "Well, goodbye." "Wait!" exclaimed Jek. Then, before he could second-guess himself, he stepped forward and kissed Vapor, his soft lips brushing against her cheek. "Stay safe," he said, looking down at the ground. Vapor blushed, and she stepped forward and kissed him on the lips, smiling. She turned around and ran through the portal, leaving Jek speechless.

"If we're the only ones left, just kill me." Eric says. "I have plenty of other lives."

"Is there a way we could communicate?" Vapor asks.

Eric smiles. "We make a pretty good team, don't we?"

"Right." Vapor says. "If you can, save The Fox before you meet us."

Eric nods and picks up a barrel, taking it to the river. "Hey, King of the Hegemomy of the world!" he yells sarcastically. "Mind helping your humble servants?"

"Let's do it then. Once we leave, you guys should probably distance yourselves from here," Vapor says. "Are you sure you guys will be okay?" Jek asks, trying to direct it to both of them but really talking to Vapor. "I wouldn't want you to get hurt."

"Let's take this area. I think we can hold it, and like I said before, supplies," Eric says.

"Actually, I think they're the same person. Jared's a mime or something?"

I'm only tagging to get people to notice this. I don't really have anything to say.

"Why does he want us?" Vapor asks.

Vapor stares at the organized chaos around her. "Is he after all of us?"

"From what I can tell."

"Good idea." Eric wades through the river, keeping an eye on @Experience.

Vapor crinkled her brow. "Why? What does it mean?"

"Heel. Stay as far away from the powder as you can."
